The draft is upon us everyone! Let's have some fun and make some predictions about tonight's draft.

Who be the #1 picks for RAW and Smackdown?

Who will be the 6 NXTers to be drafted?

Will they break up Any other tag teams/factions? If so which one(s)?

Will they split the women's division or put them all on one show?

Who will be Mr. Irrelevant?

Any other predictions?

I guess I'll start it off:

I think Rollins will be the #1 overall on RAW and Ambrose will be Smackdown's #1 pick

NXT draft picks

Balor
Bailey
American Alpha
Austin Aries
Asuka
Rhyno

I don't think any other teams will be broken up

I do think all of the women should be on one show. Preferably RAW since they have the extra hour and bigger roster.

No Nakamura as a draft pick seems like a poor choice

I'd also think if they were going to call Joe up this would be the time to do it

They'll split the women up which would be aids but they will because more audience for total divas!

To think they're breaking up potential great opponent combinations is weird

They could be breaking up Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens
They could be breaking up Rollins and Ambrose (and Reigns)
They could be breaking up Kofi and Dolph Ziggler

it's really quite remarkable

Unless they decide to split the NXTers through SummerSlam, I think Nakamura stays in NXT for now. It feels like they are setting up a Joe vs Nakamura match for Brooklyn. That is why I don't think he gets picked tonight.

I suppose that prediction may easily be right though, with this insistence on Dean Ambrose getting to be a WWE Champion and all. If they're going to split to separate world titles again, no better way to make one of the belts clearly secondary than to start it on Dean.

Giving Ambrose a transitional reign didn't seem like the end of the world, but the timing seems pretty bad now that I give it 5 seconds of thought. The Reigns drug test didn't help things.

Crazy prediction: due to Cena's drawing power, Smackdown will catch Raw in the ratings in a year.

The draft Smackdown had a higher rating than the Raw the night before. This week Raw will probably lead again but Smackdown might be ahead during football season because of the lack of Tuesday games.

Edit: Actually, I'm wrong about Smackdown having the higher rating. Raw was 2 100ths higher than draft Smackdown.

Amazingly enough, putting together an episode where it matters what happens draws eyeballs.

Breaking Bad would have sucked if every week Jesse got shot and then he was back like normal the next week

Yeah, perhaps more than anything, right now WWE needs to take the buzz that they have from the brand split and show they are now committed to consistency, continuity, and consequences so the shows are appealing to people who have standards. Not many people will watch wrestlers 'just having fun' for 5 hours out of a 26 hour time span.
