So just to recap, 4 years ago, TNA had the WWE Champion, The IGWP Heavyweight Champion, The WWE Cruiserweight Champion who won a 32 man tournament to win that title, The Top Heel on NXT and their champion was Mick Foley

I don't think I've been happier for a wrestler result since Wrestlemania 30

Final was great and I don't even think it was in the top 5 for CWC matches.

If they wanted some way to get me excited about Raw, they've done a damn good job.

Scored a pic with Daniel Bryan outside the building. Didn't want to bother him but said **** it. Was super cool and friendly--exactly as expected.

Haven't been spoiled yet and going to watch later but guessing by the fact HHH is the only WWE thing trending now, I'm looking forward to seeing him go over in the cruiserweight division.

and the guy who was ROH champ a month ago, the Global force champ, and a bunch of glorious others.
3-5
(edit, quick research suggests mick foley was never TNA world champ, 12 had 2 NXT'ers and a now deleted guy, the worst champ TNA had anywhere in that 3-5 yr timeframe was Mr. Anderson)

Haven't read all the thread yet but I love this result. If Kota isn't going full time then Perkins is a great choice, guy is awesome and a perfect first CW champion.

Since we're laughing at TNA, offering Magnus more money than the current WWE champion seems to have paid off for them.

Was chatting with a couple of fans/local beat writers after the show. They said it was very "lol TNA" when it came to media access and promotion--just incompetence about telling reporters basic things that would sell the brand. Essentially the things that WWE nails every time without really thinking about it.

TNA never understood how to make wrestlers seem like a big deal, either with booking or promoting, so it didn't matter much who they had. The one feud they had which seemed really huge was Joe vs Angle when Angle first started with them, and Joe had been on an undefeated streak since starting with the company. And then they pushed the people who had come up with the ideas that made that feud great out of the company and started overexposing both those guys.

Last one but here's my "creepy stalker" picture: Sasha on the far left and Bayley on the right (on her phone). Can't help but think they helped pave the way for what we saw last night.

Just so you know I'm not going to let the fact that the little girl is in the front row kill me enjoyment of last night's show

Sounds about right. Mooro is right that it started to go down hill right after the biggest feud they had. They started over exposing and misusing the x-division guys and when that didn't draw they pushed them to the side and started pushing WWE guys. It's insane how much talent they had on the roster at one point and they just didn't know how to market them.
