Kota has to be the major fav to win it all right? Gargano or ZSJ are the only other guys I see them giving it to. I think the final four will be Kota, Tozawa, ZSJ and Gargano with ZSJ and Kota in the final.

Yeah, that match was.......not good. Ho Ho Lun vs Noam Dar could be a trainwreck. By far the least impressive winners and one of them is making the final eight. Hope their first round matches were aberrations and that their round 2 match will surprise me.

Other three matches were great.

finally getting around to this. liked the first match a lot with metalik. both seemed solid. the SSP from apron to floor by his opponent was sweet. Second match was meh. daivari seemed a lot better than ho ho.

cedric was the most impressive person to me so far in the tournament when you factor in expectations:results. hes shown more charisma in these two events than large swashes of the main roster has in years. dude seems to have it and i hope they sign him

Yeah watched it this morning as well. You can go ahead and cancel the rest of the tournament because it is going to be real difficult to top that match

Ibushi really has a hard time being exclusive to one company that's not DDT. He could be a key player in WWE or a main eventer in NJPW, but he rather not limit his options on where he wants to wrestle if something else peaks his interest.

Heck, look what he has done since he decided not to do the duel exclusive deal between NJPW/DDT anymore. He's made an appearance at Takeover: Dallas, be in this movie in Japan where he's fighting this Godzilla-sized monster, did some matches in other promotions during Wrestlemania weekend, participated in Sasuke (Ninja Warrior), and is doing the CWC without being tied down to being exclusive to a company. I guess, to him, that sort of stuff may give him more enjoyment than being, exclusively, a key player in the big promotions.

Noam Dar still being in the tournament while Jack is out deeply upsets me

While I agree with this statement, at least the fact that Gallagher got about 99.9% of the offense in that match gives me hope he will be part of the cruiser weights that will be on RAW

Gallagher is awesome and the best part about him is that he could probably run through them all for real.

Meltzer gave Cedric/Ibushi 4.5 stars.

Wrong guy won all three matches imo.

Got nothing against Tozawa, but man, Gallagher earned another match with all that charisma. I'll agree that he did look about as good as possible for anyone with receiving a loss.

Much better match from Noam Dar this time, but I'm not sure what the advantage is having him advance. Hoho Lun didn't blow me away, but his story and nationality do help. I'm not sure what Noam Dar brings to the table. If you really want a Scottish wrestler, go get Drew McIntyre again.

I liked Tony Nese quite a bit. Plus I'm getting really tired of Daniel Bryan's incessant homering of Kendrick.

ZSJ's match this week was better than his first round match. First round was a glorified squash. The match with Gulak featured more striking and Gulak countered a lot of ZSJ's moves.

Probably won't turn the haters (it was relatively short at less than 9 minutes). But it was a better match.

Also I hope when the cruiserweight division makes the move to Raw they keep the 20 minute time limit. And twice a year they make use of it.

Another also, Gargano was involved in 2 of the 3 best matches of the first 2 rounds.

Three great matches.

MUCH better match from ZSJ. Even more impressed by Drew Gulak.

I think I still want Rich Swann to ship this thing though.
