Didn't realize until that promo that they were in Chicago, so it's no surprise that the crowd has been elite, but they've been pitch-perfect simply by virtue of:
1. Being really loud and enthusiastic; and
2. Cheering faces and booing heels without spending the whole show getting cute and trying to put themselves over.
Seems like it's just "Becky Lynch is taking a risk and choosing to trust Charlotte." And then there are some other women.
Could this end up with Becky tagging in Charlotte > Charlotte hits the ropes while strutting and nails Becky in the face? I'm down for that again. epic gif

Was hoping for that very thing, but Charlotte has already come in and run some offense. Part of the magic of Sting/Flair was that Flair was hot-tagging in for his first action of the match.
(I'm a longtime orton fan honestly but have came to the conclusion he is an ineffective face and currently has no character besides "snek")
He can be useful as a face - he's certainly very over as a face - but it's pretty bad to have someone as a babyface world champion when you have to think that he's almost nobody's favorite wrestler. Being the whole crowd's fifth-favorite wrestler does not make good world championship material.
I think that a person writing a recap story about this PPV could already all but lock in an overall event conclusion of "not terrible, but totally forgettable."
