that's a pretty solid lineup for a random Smackdown

Breezango have made themselves into the most entertaining tag team in the WWE right now. The Usos are awful. Hoping for an upset win.

AJ/KO should be a great match, but it's so sad to see the best two wrestlers of 2016 fighting over the US title. And since this feud is destined to continue, the outcome doesn't really even matter.

The rest is a waste of time.

Going out on a limb and predicting a sneaky-good ppv. Low expectations for Randy/Jinder but the rest should be entertaining.

Then again, I'm still enjoying Smackdown when no one else seems to.

Agreed very much, terrible that the main title is the match we expect to be the worst

To me, a necessary part of a match being entertaining is whether or not I care about who wins. It also greatly helps that I have some uncertainty about who wins, so that big moves and near falls have drama. Of course, the WWE can always pull a swerve and book someone to win that defies all logic. It has happened plenty of times before. But still, Jinder ain't beating Orton.

Zayn/Corbin, don't care who wins
Shunsuke/Ziggler, Shinsuke isn't losing his debut match
Harper/Rowan, don't care who wins
Women's Six Man, don't care who wins
AJ/KO, I care, but it doesn't matter much
Uggos/Breezango, I care and am uncertain, although I suspect the Uggos will cheat to win or get DQ'ed to continue the feud.

To the preshow? Rowan vs Harper seems the obvious choice. The other matches all have reasons to not be on the preshow:

debut of Nak
AJ is basically the anchor of Smackdown and is never going to be on the preshow
WWE title match isn't going on the preshow
Charlotte isn't going on the preshow
They seem to be actually pushing the tag match

Only other one that could be moved is Zayn/Corbin. But the powers that be seem to like Corbin more than they like Harper or Rowan.

I feel like if KO/AJ was for the WWE championship, and Orton/Jinder was for the US championship, this PPV would be viewed a lot better by most. The card really isn't that bad.

Tye Dillinger v Aiden English is also apparently scheduled. Now that sounds like a pre-show match.

This probably isn't the PPV to do it, but they really should get the title off of Orton. I like him, but the main event scene is going to be pretty boring with him as the champ. I wouldn't even be that excited to see him feud with Owens or AJ.

I agree entirely. I wonder if there's some chance of KO/AJ going on after Orton/Jinder. It sure feels like the higher-profile match, and I don't think that I'm just biased by my inner smarkdom.

Currently sitting in Zanies Comedy Club watching Jim Ross' one man show. It's really entertaining so far.

I don't know if it would be possible to book a match I care less about than English/Dillinger.

I still don't really get Dillinger, but English is impressive. Could be a valuable midcard guy for a long time.
