Yeah the spoilers rarely excite me, except for things like the time that D. Bryan won the belt and then had it declared invalid.

I'm loving Daniel Bryan right now, he is a great character and is a real highlight of WWE programming. I wonder what they will do with him once he loses the title though, it would be a shame if he gets lost in the shuffle as is so often the case these days when creative move onto their next pet project. See; Swagger, Jack.

My biggest worry/expectation is that Bryan is going to be moved to Raw if he drops the title. A feud with Punk is basically begging to happen, a triple threat with Jericho around MITB time would be an awesome minor PPV main event and i think his gimmick can survive a feud with Cena; but Raw is the place where good ideas go to die and i can easily see Bryan end up in the midcard as a JTTS like Miz is right now if they jerk around with his character too much or he just gets lost in the mix (which i doubt would happen on Smackdown).

But at the same time i think he is ready for the big time on the A brand, his gimmick isnt quite there but its building up nicely and should be fully realised by the time the draft happens and he is one of the few workers they have who has had a great match with literally every single person he has faced. But not just great, but great in the sense that i cant remember him ever making any botches that werent easily covered over (eg when he slammed into the table vs Jericho on NXT he was meant to go over the table and plough into Cole, but the end result looked brutal) and his mic work right now is just top notch as he truly understands his character.

A feud with Cena after the draft for a couple months then the split off so Cena takes on Jericho and Bryan takes on Punk would be half a year id love to see happen if they book it even reasonably well.

Yeah, this tends to be true more often than not, but this week its a lot of uber short bull**** matches and not much in the way of juicy promos to get into. Give me Sheamus vs Jinder any day of the week when the alternative is Khali vs Jinder.

Teddy Long informed Daniel Bryan that Randy Orton had a concussion and therefore would be competing against him. Esequiel mentioned there were security guards stationed outside the office as Teddy told Bryan.

1. Great Khali and Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett. Khali and Show won after Khali chokeslammed Barrett. Show knocked Khali out during the post-match celebration.

Backstage, a returned Mark Henry was lobbying Teddy Long to put him in the Elimination Chamber match. Show came in and demanded a match vs. Daniel Bryan tonight. He ended up knocking Henry out and trashing Long's office. Long told the security team to escort Big Show out if they saw him. Security said they weren't getting near that giant. Long told them to step up.

2. Hunico defeated Ted DiBiase. Hunico won with a roll-up.

3. Epico and Primo defeated the Usos. Primo scored the pinfall with a backstabber.

Daniel Bryan cut a promo in the ring about what he did on Raw. He said Big Show and Orton were afraid to come out. He said come Sunday, he would still be World Champion. He told Lilian to announce him the winner of the main event by forfeit, but Teddy Long came out and announce Bryan would face Sheamus instead.

4. Daniel Bryan defeated Sheamus by disqualification. Bryan spit in Sheamus's face and Sheamus went crazy. The ref tried to hold him back, but Sheamus pushed him to cause the DQ.

Backstage, Cody and Barrett asked Teddy who was taking Orton's place in the Chamber match. Teddy said they were going to have a battle royal and the winner would take the final spot. He said anyone from any brand could compete.

5. Jinder Mahal defeated Ezekiel Jackson. Mahal won by submission with the camel clutch.

Long was on the phone backstage and John Laurinaitis walked up. He said Teddy needed someone with charisma in the battle royale and entered David Otunga. Teddy wished him luck.

6. Tamina and Alicia Fox defeated Beth Phoenix and Natalya. Tamina pinned Natalya for the win.

7. Santino Marella won a battle royal to claim Randy Orton's spot in the Elimination Chamber. The final four were Santino, Drew McIntyre, Ezekiel Jackson, and David Otunga. Drew was eliminated first, followed by Zeke. Crowd went nuts for Santino win.

To be fair, they're seriously lacking for babyfaces in the first place when Sheamus is ineligible and Khali was already in before this Orton injury. Santino is at least really over.

If Khali is the first choice to replace Henry then Santino being the first choice to replace Orton is entirely consistent, haha.

Tbh i think there are a few ways they can go here that are not just acceptable but actually pretty good. Time will tell if they do though. One thing for sure is the most consistent thing to bet on is its not just good but good enough.

Santino and Khali have to be the first two eliminated, prefereable by Bryan really quickly with submissions to really push Bryan being awesome. Imagine the heel heat when Bryan make Santino tap like a minute in to the match and cuts a promo for the next 5 minutes until Khali comes in?

Please just have Mark Henry attack either Santino or Khali and have him take their spot. At least there's a chance he could win. This is why I hate Santino so much. If they would just have him be the comedic jobber I would be fine with that, but to have him be runner up in the RR and now be in the Elimination Chamber match is just degrading to the product.

The biggest wtf in the spoilers got lost in all the Santino talk.

Cody/Big Show for the IC title is official for Mania. Even if it's against Big Show I'm glad to see it being defended. Drew got fired, I'll be interested to see where this goes. Apparently Kane is going to fued with Orton now. Idk how I feel about that, I kinda wanted Orton to be in the WHC match, but I have faith he's good enough to get a decent match out of Kane. Hopefully their fued is better then the Cena/Kane fued.

Orton in the WHC would have added nothing to it, I tend to like him having Kane I think, though it is prolly the burial match that kills the mask gimmick and has no story to it.

Orton vs Kane is not that strange as it looks like on the surface. I did predict that match in the wm thread like a month ago. If you look at all the main even heels in the company, subtract every one who he feuded with the last 2 years and heels who already have a program for wm you're not left with many. Off the top of my head i can think of Del Rio and Kane right now. And Kane already got a monster build behind him so it makes sense for Orton vs Kane. That was my reasoning for predicting it.

The goal of the whc match to me should be getting over Sheamus, and having one of the most over babyfaces in the company added to that match will most likely make that more difficult.

Subtracting everyone he has feuded with is a flawed approach imo because you miss out that there is an Orton vs Henry and Orton vs Christian story that can easily be fired back up and would easily produce a great match people would want to see, esp if you attach some kind of stipulations like number one contender or loser leaves Smackdown or whatever.

What happened to the rumored Big Show vs Shaq match?

Shaq has still been talking about being involved recently and it seems to be all signed and sealed and going ahead to some degree, but exactly what his role is ive not read any details since months ago when it was said Show would heel turn then job out, but they seem to have entirely changed direction since then.

Shaq sides with Cody and turns heel (just like he did with the Lakers). Book it.

The rift with the Lakers really came out like a face turn to most of the country. I didn't see many people siding with Kobe at the time.

I don't watch basketball, so I dunno.

Okay, so I sat with my sister last night after she got home from Florida. Her and her husband went to both the last two tapings. Including that one. She has said exactly what I have said about Eric Young: He is a funny Santino Marella.
