So none of the IYH events were just called that on their own, seems legit

At least I have my Gotch ace, thought that more would go for whatever they called the really really really old set of inductees

The actual decision wasn't the worst thing ever, it was the aftermath of the confetti and Luger being lifted onto the shoulders of the others and all that that really bugged me. I was ten but I was still like, "Wait, wtf is this ****? Yokes still has the title, why are they having a goddamn parade?"

The ending makes a lot more sense if Luger gets out of the ring and tries his hardest to get Yoko back in but simply can't because he's too fat, and then to have him waive off the onslaught of congratulations out of frustration for not getting the belt.

While the ending you describe would be more sensible, it's impossible to imagine ending a SummerSlam that way, especially in the era when PPVs were rare.

In general you get no argument from me. I was stunned that Luger didn't go (fully) over.

Thought the same exact thing about Michaels

I think the first few were just In Your House #1 #2 and so on.

It all started so well and I felt really good after the Ace of the Universe had aced in the WON Wrestler of the Year (I was a bit afraid that other guys that watched NJPW might have picked Tanahashi as well thinking that would be a safe bet).

It all went downhill from there. I though I was certain I was going to get Andre and/or Goodfather. I didn't even know more than one person try to lift Yokozuna on that day. Also thought I would get HBK as ace as a guy that beaten Undertaker (that's not a DQ/Countout) given that his ways over Undertaker were under screwy circumstances involving Kane. Also, getting penalized over Tyson Kidd. Shows what I know about Total Divas.

Oh well, I can't wait for the next Peehs. Thanks for hosting it, teejay.

Such BS. I remember his King Haku days and didn't realize that the crown was handed to him. I was actually going to answer Harley Race, but couldn't remember if he won the tourney or if the crown was handed to him, so went with the "safe" Haku answer.

That fact that we were collectively able to name so many IYH PPVs is both amazing and a little scary.

I think its more amazing that there were 16 aces

According to Wikipedia, there are 22 correct answers. We got 18 of them.

Yeah, 16 aces when only 22 correct answers are available is absurd.

Ha yeah, wasn't sure if that was a bad question or just variance, hopefully the latter.

Btw sixfour, I see your point of view and there's probably an argument to be made in your favour, but answering "none" to that question is imo similar to answering "vacant" to a "who has held this title" question, which I would also mark as incorrect fwiw.

I think it's absurd in a good way. I thought the question was perfect. Enough answers so that all aces is a possibility but incredibly unlikely

I got a point!

Also I got a couple of ACEs!!

Not bad for someone who clearly knows absolutely nothing about wrestling
