You can probably tweak his character face with very little issue. He is definitely too good a talent to just be a JTTS. He is one of the best talkers in the company and is really solid in the ring.

He's alright in the ring. He is a good talker. If they want to turn him babyface I think it takes a total repackage and not just a tweak, but if they are just going to turn him face as is then I guess I'll see how it goes. I guess it could be like the original Leaping Lanny Poffo character at first.

That story claiming that Savage was pissed about the parodies goes directly against a shoot video I've seen of him where he very matter-of-factly said "there's no such thing as bad publicity" and joked, "I'd probably have been offended if he spoofed Hogan and didn't include me." He seemed to sincerely get it and not take it personally.

He ****ed her, thats all there is to it.

I get the feeling that it's not particularly structured when it comes to PPV paydays. Jericho told a story in his book from when he faced HHH at WrestleMania in the main event, and he expected to make less than HHH since Hunter was more the draw of the match. In fact, he expected to make about half as much, and he was alright with that. Then he found out how much HHH got for the show, and while he didn't specify how out-of-proportion it was, he said that upon finding out he went ballistic and went to Vince's office to pitch a fit about it. After he unloaded, Vince just turned to JR and told him to cut Jericho another check for some undisclosed amount to take care of the situation. Whatever that supplemental check was, Jericho was satisfied.

To some extent it sounds like Vince probably lowballs his workers and then will put out fires/make reparations later if need be. Hogan has said that he hates the fact that he and Vince continually fall out over money over and over again.

Would love for someone from this generation to do some sort of tell all in a future book but it may have to happen after VKM moves on or something.

CM Punk seems like he would be a candidate for that job.

I keep waiting for Punk to do another shoot now that he quit WWE. It would be so awesome to hear what he really thought of HHH beating him at NOC and killing his momentum, or the Rock coming back, and what really caused him to finally leave. I think he plans on eventually coming back so I guess he doesn't want to talk too much **** about anyone yet.

Yeah- I've always though the merch argument for Punk being a work was really iffy. WWE doesn't hate money, and they've got a portion of their crowd loudly announcing they'll buy his shirts during every slow period on Raw.

Stone Cold mentioned that when he walked out they continued to sell his stuff and he received no money from it however they didn't design new merchandise until he was back. I tend to agree with the above posts though in that WWE are just making money wherever they can/
