Good point. WWE has done this going as far back as 1999 (Foley putting butts in seats) and probably before that. I know way back in the day they would sometimes have house show matches with incorrect champions because TV tapings from previous month had not aired but that was long before internet and schedules were wildly different.

ADR vs Ziggler is an odd feud because it means the challenger is the one given the task to get the champion over on his face turn in order to get himself over heel for when he takes the title at some point at or before WM.

Fwiw I would expect to see Shield vs Ryback in some way and Big Show vs Henry at WM before I see Show vs Ryback. Even though I reckon Show putting over Ryback for his 1:0 streak beginning is much better booking.

i just mean in a one on one match. no doubt if punk wins it won't be him that wins it. lame to put the belt on him in a 6 man gimmick match on a nonmajor ppv. although it is nice to see rock is planning on being at EC because lots thought he would lose because he's not at the event.

Punk needs the Elimination Chamber to be his branching off point on the road to mania.

Punk wins dirty at the RR.
Cena wins the RR itself (but will probably get to be in the chamber match too because wtf not.)
Rock dominates EC and wins the title.
Twice in a Lifetime is set for mania.
Punk can cut promos about being best ever and then Undertaker can come out.
