Count me in as a Rikishi mark. He should've gotten at least one ME WWF Title shot as a face against maybe HHH at some B-level PPV, he was pretty over. Guy endured a ton of crap gimmicks, held just about every title but the WHC, one of the most accomplished pure midcarders, and stuck around for 12+ years which isn't easy. And hey, he's better than Koko B. Ware.

The Koko B. Ware comparison justifies literally every induction that a person could imagine and should pretty obviously not be used.

Inducting Rikishi is very much the equivalent of inducting Bob Holly.

Appears that Rikishi wrestled on four WrestleManias in 12 years, only once in singles action, and that one time in singles action was one of the worst matches in WM history (Rocky vs. Sultan at WM 13).

This really does seem to be a situation where only Koko B. Ware is keeping it from being the worst HOF induction ever.

Headshrinker Fatu was his peak as an in-ring competitor for sure.

Naturally the money only started rolling in for him once he aligned with the only Attitude Era tag team that was more annoying than the Outlaws.

I understand Larry to have had a good in-ring career, yeah. Unfortunately all I really know him for is his Nitro announcing, which was brutal. But it sounds like he had an epic feud with Bruno way back when.

According to Wikipedia Zbyszko was stabbed in the ass by a fan after a match and hit with an iron pole after another shortly after turning on Sammartino among other incidents such as having taxis he was in be turned over.

I only know him from Nitro as well and never liked him. He always came off as a bitter ******* in those shoot vids with Hall as well. Reading wiki though and it does seem like he had a substantial feud with Bruno.

"Stink Face" was gratuitous, unnecessary, and utterly unfunny. I don't think I've ever hated a wrestling "move" more than this.

To me, any HOF should just be a place you go to remember stuff that was fun and a way to recognize people you remember fondly. Sometimes that's just the pretty over dude with the big ass who dances.

It surely can't be Rikishi that shattered the pretense that the HOF meant anything. The fact that they're just inducting Savage this year is much more damaging to their credibility.

If you care about the HOF you're getting worked.

The wwe website and wwe network let's you wax nostalgic about anyone and everyone no matter how insignificant they are. There should definitely be a legitimate standard for the HOF even if it is just a night of recognition and not a physical place

Still, rikishi is far from the least deserving wrestler they have in there. Now if too cool got inducted that'll probably be time for me to tune out to its existence
