While Bryan/Sheamus doesn't sound exciting, if it means a Sheamus heal turn it's at least a way to make him be an interesting character (that doesn't make a mockery of their anti-bullying campaign) again.

I'm just over trying to find some good out of so much that is bad. I'm kind of glad Roman won because the real life story and backlash is so much more interesting than the garbage they write. Bryan/Lesnar would have been epic though.

Bryan vs. Sheamus 2-of-3 falls from a few years ago was a great match and certainly can produce another great match. It doesn't sound very interesting as a Mania program and I don't trust them to give it a very good build, but if they do then it could easily deliver.

The problem with a Sheamus/Bryan match is that they will likely be the fourth (if that) most important program on the show so I doubt they get much time to show their stuff anyways. Pathetic.

I'd like them to put Ziggler over someone at WM, though admittedly the tea leaves aren't really pointing in that direction at this point.

I understand the insistence on shoving Reigns through more than I can understand the unwillingness to at least try pushing guys like Ziggler toward the top after they consistently create one of the most positive crowd reactions on a weekly basis.

This is problem the thing that the backlash can most impact. If the crowd won't shut up about Bryan for the next two months, they might at least give him a decent showcase.

The thing that's odd to me moving forward, is how does HHH/Sting happen. Given what's been rumored, I don't see where the great injustice that prompts the VIGILANTE STING to show up and correct. Are they going to try and convince us that the Authority wants Roman out the Main Event? Fire people some more?

I feel like the WWE pretty consistently miscalculates how interested people are in seeing people talk in the damn ring.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I have no interest in Lesnar vs Bryan because Bryan is too small to be a believable threat and I hate the David vs Goliath storyline.

I think this is just the kind of disbelief you have to suspend to watch wrestling, but it's a totally fair point of view. I think the one benefit Bryan has here is an established running strike finisher. I don't buy Brock being taken out by an AA- I do buy him losing to a knee to the face.

So basically Brock vs Bryan is over in 13 seconds.

Bryan did a great job making matches with Mark Henry work very well. From that standpoint it's tough for me to imagine Bryan vs. Lesnar not being stellar.
