With a 12 team league it makes absolutely no sense to have 3 starting RB's. All it takes is 1 injury in week 3 and a team could be done for the season. You can barely find 20-22 RB's worth having on rosters and needing 36 starters plus backups is ridiculous.

I've been playing FF(+4 leagues per yr) for +20 yrs and never had to start 3 RB's in any league.

I vote we go with 1 of the following set ups.

1 QB
1 RB
1 Flex(RB/WR/TE)
3 WR's
1 TE
1 K
1 D


1 QB
2 RB
1 Flex(RB/WR/TE)
2 WR
1 TE
1 K
1 D

Both of those are the standard starting line ups for the majority of FF leagues.

If there is that shortage of decent RB then who is gonna start a 3rd RB? Can you not just make ur team 2RB 3Wr and 1 TE?

The setup we are using is not 3 rb but 2 rb with a flex. In fact, it is just the second one you suggested, namely:

That's what I thought I saw a few days ago when I checked but I've slept since then and those brain cells are long gone(I watched RAW this week and it kills brain cells faster than Oprah kills a bag of Cheetos).

A flex position is damn near mandatory in a league with more than 10 teams and I personally like having the TE option since more teams seem to be using them as a #2 WR now.

+1. I still have no idea what all this RB/WR/TE etc. stuff means.

I am top of my league in fantasy premier league after one week though so I'm obv awesome at all fantasy sports. (With Van Persie still to play and three Chelsea players to play again, I might add).
