Instant main eventer for 21 years, most of those being full-time. Great locker room guy. Never gives the company bad PR. Hugely over for the entire duration. The problems that come with centering a company around him are dispelled quickly when you account for the fact that I get another top-level guy in four picks. After the top five, you have to go with an ensemble cast rather than center it around a mega-star. While Taker isn't as mega-elite as the six taken in front of him, the more I thought about it the easier it became to make this choice over the other available options.
Re: Wrestling Dynasty Draft Reboot - Official Draft Thread
I had Undertaker down next and briefly considered taking him ahead of Cena. I wasn't expecting you to pick him though and thought there was an outside chance he may have even dropped back to me. Good pick.
Re: Wrestling Dynasty Draft Reboot - Official Draft Thread
I was close to picking Cena over Dwayne but in the end I just thought Rock would be more fun to write. Taker is obviously fine here, I'll be interested to see what direction you go in round two because there's a lot of different routes you can take with him as your first pick.
Re: Wrestling Dynasty Draft Reboot - Official Draft Thread
The nice thing now is that, as opposed to this pick, I see the next six or so guys as fairly interchangeable in value and I'm far from set on any one of them. I guess I do have one preferred guy in mind right now but meh.

There's one guy left who's head and shoulders above everyone else.

Just realised that this is the first time in five drafts that Austin didn't go number one. Hogan always gets undervalued, I don't think he has even gone at number two before!
Feel free to add me to the spreadsheet editing team if you want, although I probably won't be around as often as I was for the last draft.
Btw the entrance music Dylan posted didn't kick in for about a minute and I thought he had decided to do a troll draft. I looked at the title of the tab like one second before Dwayne's regular music kicked in, somewhat spoiling the element of surprise :-(
Struggling to decide who I want next. Dunno whether to go for someone I really want but may drop back to me, or someone who has no chance of dropping back to me and would be a nice pickup but who I could live without.
