What Wrestlers Have You Met?
Just curious as to what wrestlers you have met and the story behind it. Since I stared the thread I'll start, though my list isn't that impressive.
I met Mick Foley at Kings Dominion amusement park in Virginia when I was there for a house show in 1998 or so. I say met, but in reality my gf and I were on a roller coaster and someone came up and asked if we would wait on ride so Mick Foley the wrestler and his son could get on. Of Course I said yes, and I shook his hand. He was very shy, but then again so was I. He said thank you about 20 times in 30 seconds, it was cool.
I met Yokozuna in what was his last wrestling appearance before he died. It was at an independent show in Virginia, but I think it was Maryland Championship Wrestling, oddly enough. He was scheduled to wrestle but (surprise) they said he didn't have his license last second, so instead he was an outside the ring enforcer for the main event. It was funny though when they said he couldn't wrestler he said "I got your license right here?, while flipping the announcer the bird. After the show I talked to him for about 10 minutes and got his autograph, which I still have.
I think that's all I have for wrestlers. Hopefully some of your stories are cooler than mine, lol.

Re: What Wrestlers Have You Met?
I live in the same town as Mick Foley, so I see him about once every 5 weeks (about 10 times a year).
I used to work at HSBC and he did some of his banking there.
I've served him at McDonald's on multiple occasions.
Bought him coffee at Starbucks.
I met Henry Godwinn and Sid at an autograph signing

Re: What Wrestlers Have You Met?
I met Bam Bam Bigelow and King Kong Bundy during a meet and greet at a house show when I was in middle school (maybe 1994-95?). I don't really remember saying anything to them, but I remember them being just massive individuals. The reason we went to the show was because I HAD to meet Razor Ramon, who was supposed to be in the main event against IRS, and he didn't show. Bigelow and Bundy ended up signing my Razor Ramon poster...
I met Nora Greenwald at an event at some point, I remember meeting her and still have a signed DVD of hers, but I remember nothing at all about the actual wrestling event that occurred that night. I pretty much had a crush on her and she was my favorite "diva" (if that's what she even was) at the time though.
Got a book signed by Terry Funk as well, was pretty much rushed through though so not much more than saying my name and how honored I was to meet him.

Re: What Wrestlers Have You Met?
I was like 10 and my brother was 8 at the time. We went to a house show kinda early in Oakland and met the Steiner Brothers. They signed my WCW banner. It was great.

Met Hogan, Vader, Marc Mero and Macho Man

Re: What Wrestlers Have You Met?
I got an autograph from Ron Killings at a TNA show the night he won the title (it was during the Asylum days), I don't even have the poster anymore, and I don't remember anything else.

Yoko died during a tour of the UK, I was fortunate enough to meet him and watch him wrestle 3 weeks before his death. Not only was he very polite and accommodating but despite his advancing weight issues he could still go in the ring. I remember going the weekend after and coming back to seeing in Sunday Night Heat that he had passed away.
Through different meet and greets I have also met Bret Hart, Marty Jannety, The Barbarian, Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, Al Snow, Steve Corino and Tracy Smothers off the top of my head. Al Snow was the best to talk to as he was very friendly and happy to hang, pose for pictures and chew the fat. Jarrett was definitely the biggest a.sshole.

Re: What Wrestlers Have You Met?
I saw Shelton Benjamin in his first run with WWE at a Tim Hortons. I was very young, but I remember it was around Team Angle time. I said hi to him and he just smiled, said "Hey little man" and posed for a picture with me. Maybe I should try to find that. . .

Re: What Wrestlers Have You Met?
I talked to Scott Stiener for about 5 mins when I worked at a radio station back around 2001, when the WWA thing was going on. I was 18 years old. He wasn't really interested in saying much but wasn't an ass hole or anything.

Re: What Wrestlers Have You Met?
This isn't a meeting, just a weird near-accident.
Several years ago, I was walking out of the Bellagio casino and down the hallway with the shopping mall which leads to Las Vegas Boulevard (the Strip). Something distracted me and for a few seconds I was looking behind me rather than watching where I was walking. I turned around just in time to avoid crashing into Stephanie McMahon. We were about a foot apart when I suddenly stopped myself to avoid hitting her. HHH was right behind her.
My mother used to work at Skip's restaurant in Chelmsford, MA. After WWF shows at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, the entire roster would eat at the restaurant. She met just about everybody in the late 70s and early 80s.

Re: What Wrestlers Have You Met?
Was out of town for work in Orlando a few years ago and staying at a hotel that had a TGI Fridays inside. Was sitting at the bar with some co-workers when I turned around and saw Mick Foley, Al Snow and a couple of other wrestlers (can't remember who) sitting at a table in the bar.
I started telling all my co-workers who they were and they were all like who the hell is that?? No one knew who they were and no one in the entire bar was going up to them or anything. I thought that was strange. Anyways, I was kinda drunk so I got one of my co-workers to take a pic of me with Mick Foley and Al Snow. They were both super nice.

Re: What Wrestlers Have You Met?
Not my stories but from stories I've heard from a friend and brother.
A friend of mine's girlfriend was waiting for a flight and struck up a conversation with a woman sitting in the terminal next to her. Before too long a giant man comes and sits next to them. That guy was The Big Show. The details are sketchy but I think the girlfriend called my friend to tell him about this Giant guy and my friend, a big wrestling fan asked could it possibly be "The Giant from WCW." I guess she asked her new friend in the terminal and got the yes answer. No autographs or pictures, just a fairly lame story but I can imagine my friend wishing she would have got something.
This other story was a few years ago. My brother was drinking in a bar in NYC and 1am I get a call from him. First thought was something wrong, but he tells me he's sitting right next to John Cena and he's hanging out with his friends and everything. My brother starts doing shots with Cena and after an hour or so Cena leaves with one of my brothers friends (girls obviously). My bro said he was in NYC promoting one of his movies. I don't remember the exact date but I'm going to assume/hope it was before Cena was married. I wasn't into wrestling (after watching it for the previous 20 years give or take) so the memory is sketchy on this one.

Met Freddie Blassie, X-Pac (1-2-3 Kid then), The Godwinns, Mantaur and IRS at the WM Fanfest before WM11 as a kid.
