watching the next nights RAW atm and only half way through but i imagine he loses it in the ladder match that is scheduled to be the main event.

something pretty lolzy about this period is the amount of mic time they give the awful mic workers. X-Pac is talking like twice an episode because of the DX feud with Corporate. Shamrock did commentary during a Val Venis match because he made a video with his sister and that was the most brutal commentary ever.

this era though because all the matches had a story behind them and weren't just thrown together like the RAWs nowadays.

Ken Shamrock rarely gets talked about, but that man was probably worse than Ahmed on the mic (albeit certainly better in the ring).

Yeah this is what I heard happened. Naturally HBK ended up in the first mania triple threat world title match a few years later.

The Attitude Era was rather fond of getting carried away with itself.

(Obviously this was only a year before the GOAT WrestleMania, so they were doing far more right than wrong.)
To be fair, the main event here was an elimination match and a decent portion of it was HHH vs Rock one on one. But yeah there only being one one on one match, and that match being a divas "cat fight", was total AIDS.

I liked WM2000, enjoyed the TLC and the main event a lot I don't think its nearly as bad as some do. Could be because thats the first WM I watched on PPV when I was a kid

Over the past few weeks I've watched pretty much every Royal Rumble match that YouTube has. Can't really say much about them other than they're highly entertaining to me.

I watched Goldberg vs HHH vs Kane triple that match from I forget what last night. The one thing that really stood out and impressed was the mental part and story telling of it all. The actual match itself was pretty damn good too.

^^ Was that from Armageddon 2003? That was the night that all members of Evolution won titles: HHH (WHC), Flair/Batista (Tag Titles), Orton (IC).

I've never really watched Indy promotions, but have a friend showing me some matches. Just finished a 4 way elimination match between Tyler Black, Claudio, Danielson, and Nigel which was awesome and currently Paul London vs Michael Shane Street fight. I've been missing some good ****.

confirmed Armageddon 03.

And by mental I meant psychology of the match but the term slipped me earlier.

WM 19 from 03'. I had disdain for Brock Lesner since he comes and goes as he pleases. However, seeing him attempt that shooting star press gave me a new found respect for him. The guy could have ended his career and life so early and went ahead and got after it. Mad props to the guy and to Angle for covering him and going for the pin and getting pinned and losing the belt. What an amazing match that was and what an overlooked Wrestlemainia as a whole.

I had already found it on there. No ads this time atleast.

For anyone looking for the Stunner. Its at around the 11 minute mark. After the match

I could direct you to a place to d/l the entire ppv for the move instead but I doubt you want that.

Just watched Dolph vs Orton from night of champions from this year. What an incredible match. Just wish Vicky wasn't yapping the entire time.

Seriously? Shut. The. ****. Up.

Still watching '99 WWF stuff and watched Backlash. It had some epic stuff with Hardcore Holly vs Al Snow, Mankind vs Big Show in a boiler room brawl, and ofc Rock vs Austin rematch from WM 15. But somebody thought it would be a good ****ing idea to have a 25 minute HHH vs X-Pac match. Undertaker vs Shamrock was on before the main event which was pretty lol. In all the RAWs I watched from WM to Backlash they never once mentioned them having a match at Backlash even though it makes sense and no wonder. All that got was "We want Ryan" and "Boring" chants. That had to have gone 15 minutes.

The go home show to Backlash was great. Especially the Austin/Rock stuff with the monster truck. Rock's eulogy for Austin was LOLOLOL. "Dearly beloved...no that won't do...Dearly trailer park trash".

God I remember that Taker/Shamrock match being so bad. People don't remember but Taker use to put on some pretty terrible matches. It wasn't until the mid 2000's when he really started to pride himself on having great matches.

It's always difficult to gauge when Taker even became capable of good matches, because he literally spent over half a decade feuding with nothing but the absolute worst workers in wrestling. Look at his PPV history and from the time that he debuted in 1990, it took until mid-'96 for him to finally have a capable opponent to work with in Foley.

There was Jake the Snake I guess, but he wasn't good in the ring aside from the storytelling/psychology factor.

Just watched Cena/Rock from Wrestlemania. I haven't followed WWE regularly for about 10 years, so I had no idea what to expect going into it. Match was meh. Rock was sloppy.

Move where Cena went from the cross-body block into the Attitude Adjustment was impressive. Just a pure strength move.

Ending surprised the hell out of me. The whole match, I was thinking that there was no way they'd let a part time wrestler beat their biggest star. But I guess that's why they did that?

Yeah everything about that fued was terrible. The build, match, and result were all terrible. If you have Cena lose turn it into an angle, make it mean something. Part of the reason I'm so excited for Rock coming back in a few weeks is that I honestly can't see it being any worse than it was before.
