ROH - Homicide Vs Colt Cabana - Street Fight

Just watched Jericho vs Rey from Bash 09. Damn good match. Have seen this pimped many times but I'm not a fan of Jericho...feel bad I waited so long to watch this. Should go out of your way to take a look at this if you haven't already.

That ROH steel cage warfare match you mentioned a couple days ago is another one I've seen pimped a lot but haven't gotten around to yet. Soon...

Watching Team ROH (Samoa Joe, Adam Pearce, and BJ Whitmer) vs. Team CZW (Chris Hero,Super Dragon, and Necro Butcher).

I've got the Bloodstained Honor DVD so all matches are on that. So many great spots in this and a very hot crowd which always adds to the match. Bit disappointed at the lack of Hero tho.

Just watched that match two days ago. Also uploaded the ROH vs CZW Cage of Death match for another forum. CoD is a better match with an even better crowd.

Just finished The Briscoes (Such an awesome team) Vs Kevin Steen and El Generico. Holy crap what a match. Gonna have to buy the Steen dvds based solely on this as I thought he was awesome.

Did you see Briscoes vs Aries/Strong from Unified earlier in 06? miles better than that match and that one is awesome.

ROH Unscripted 2007 - Tyler Black Vs Austin Aries.

I'm glad Rollins was in ROH and picked up his disc set. So far so good about an hour or so into it.

I watched the first Starrcade last night in place of RAW. Was pretty solid actually, last three matches were all really good. Whole show is on YouTube.

Looks like its recorded its someone's basement with two fans constantly chanting "Holy ****". Not for me.

Watched El Generico vs Claudio Castonolli from PWG's Kurt Russell Reunion II. This match is an exhibition on what selling should be. One of 2011's best matches. I believe it was my MotY for 2011 though I'm slightly lower on it after watching it 10-15 times. Must see match as is their rematch from the Battle of Los Angeles 2011. Can't wait to see them tangle on ppv in the E.

Two great wrestlers. Bryan can nearly make anyone look good in the ring, but Tyler can hold his own here.

I miss the Danielson uppercuts.

Watching a Kings of Wrestling comp (Kings Reign Supreme).

First match was vs The Briscoes @ The Big Bang - match felt like it took forever (it was 28 minutes) because the crowd was so dead. It was a good match though.

Next up was vs MCMG @ Supercard of Honor V - match was f'n awesome. have seen it a few times and it never gets boring

Now I'm watching vs Briscoes in a streetfight @ Death Before Dishonor VIII - chaotic would describe this match. Also, bloodbath. Have seen this one many times. sick sick match. Probably the best KOW match.

I've never seen a Black vs Danielson match. Not sure which one you saw but I think they had 2 (possibly more). One at New Horizons and another at Breakout. Someday I'll get to those to. Have them both d/l'ed for over a year now lol.

Just finished Ishii vs Shibata from 8/4/13. Probably the best sub 15 minute match ever. I've also watched it around 10 times since it happened. It has the feel of a worked shoot fight. Shibata and Ishii are just two tough bastards. Would put it as second best match of 2013 as well.

How is Puro nowadays? I used to watch maybe in 2006 or so, it was when KENTA was the main guy. Such a gifted wrestler to watch.

NOAH is almost out of business and has been terrible since mid late 2011. AJPW had teamed up with BJW and they had a good feud/relationship in 2012 but both feds have fizzled to ****. NJPW is without a doubt the best promotion in the world.

For the past three years Tanahashi (IC champ atm) and Okada (IWGP champ atm) have been #1 and #2 "Wrestler of the Year" for every publication you can get your hands on. They've had six matches since Okada showed up in Jan '12. 2 of them have been rated 5* by Meltzer and 2 others ****3/4, another one ****1/2, and the last I forget atm. Their match from 4/7/13 I would call the best match of the 2000's. NJPW had 7 of the top 10 wrestlers of 2013 in the WON.

Shibata was a legit MMA guy and came to NJPW in Jan '13. Ishii is the ultimate underdog and a guy the fans always get behind despite being a low-midcard heel and losing a ton but a damn tough guy with the nickname "The Pitbull".

There was an event on 2/2 that has a good match to get into NJPW. Tanahashi/Goto/Naito vs Okada/Ishii/Nakamura - This is the lead in to the 2/9 and 2/10 ppvs. Nakamura is challenging Tana for the IC belt. Goto is challenging Okada for the IWGP belt. Ishii is challenging Naito for the NEVER openweight belt.

As for KENTA, I only know what I read about him because I haven't seen a match of his since 09 but based off lots of opinions, he's terrible and just does moves without selling and hasn't evolved from his great 2006/07 years.

Watched it. Liked it but wouldn't watch again or recommend. Evans trying to kill himself by doing a double backflip head first into the concrete outside was impressive. Loved Abyss during the match. I loathe matches with weak managers in them so that's part of my meh opinion on it.

TRD, have you seen the cage match in ROH between Whitmer and Jacobs? Possibly the most brutal match I've seen that isn't from a deathmatch fed.. Tons of drama, blood, carnage, and injuries.
