i like this idea to spam all the classic puro i watch . last night i watched Punk vs Joe from "World Title Classic", the first in their trilogy. tonight i'm gonna watch Punk vs Joe II. It's been a while and I've never seen Punk vs Joe III so watching the first two as a primer.

Watched Punk/Joe II last night and like the previous viewings, it delivered. I do think it's odd that Punk was winning the strikefests and no selling Joe for the first 45 minutes and the last 15 it was Joe doing that to Punk, seems like it should've been the other way around.

Punk/Joe III was definitely on the level of the previous match and had the huge match atmosphere. It's a match that should be seen by all wrestling fans. The sleeper spot and the finish were incredible.

Watching HBK vs Jericho at WM 19. Its pretty much what you expect out of these guys in a first-time match-up.

Downloaded a set somebody put together that had every match from Bryan Danielson's ROH title win until he lost it. will happily give a link if anybody's interested. I've seen a bunch of these but it's fun watching the best wrestler in the world do his thing.

He won vs James Gibson (Jamie Noble) in a very good match. Easily in the ****1/4-****1/2 range
1st defense vs Austin Aries - i was a little underwhelmed by this match. it wasn't bad but i expected a much better match between these two. worth a watch anyhow.
2nd defense vs Steve Corino - did not watch because quality sucked and audio was out of sync
3rd defense vs Roderick Strong - this match is around ****1/4. the first half is kind of whatever because Danielson is trying to be a heel. second half is very good and the finish is making me question whether it was a shoot ending or planned ending. it was intense.

Also d/l'ed "The Summer of Punk" that ROH released a while ago. Again can send a link if anybody wants it.
Punk vs Aries - ****1/2. The crowd was off the charts for this match and it made it that much more special. The end was kind of wtf worthy which keeps it from being in the best matches of all time category.

uploaded the last 15 minutes of the Strong/Danielson match if anybody wants to see a crazy finish. finish starts at 13:00. i lean towards work but idk.

defense 4 vs. Chris Sabin: a pretty meh match by Danielson standards. he pulled out all of Rodericks moves after the match they had 6 days earlier and beat him with Roddy's finisher.
defense 5 vs. Roderick Strong @ Vendetta (one week after their previous encounter): A helluva a match. It blows away their previous match which I threw at 4 1/4-4 1/2. This match is ****ing long but they keep up the intensity for 50 minutes. This is widely considered in the top 10 of ROH matches and the top 3 of US matches for 05.
