Re: WBM Greatest Talker of All Time - Voting + Discussion

Alright, well then let me fix his post so that it's easy enough to flip by and tally.

Flair is tough to rate because the last 10 years of his career, he was just a parody of himself.

Results
Ric Flair and The Rock both vanquish Chris Jericho and Bobby Heenan with relative ease, narrowing it down to them for the battle for first place.

This also leaves Jericho and Heenan battling for third. And in their head-to-head matchup, Heenan raced out to an early lead before Jericho rattled off almost all of the late votes...and still fell one short.

FOURTH PLACE: CHRIS JERICHO
Since Jericho lost each matchup in the final four, but vanquished Stone Cold head to head, I think it's fair to say that Jericho finishing fourth and Austin finishing outside the final four, presumably the fifth or sixth place finisher, was the correct result that was reached according to popular consensus. Some questioned Austin getting the draw that kept him out of the final four, but I think it's safe to say that he just didn't have the support in this to go any further.

THIRD PLACE: BOBBY "THE BRAIN" HEENAN
Of the whole final four, I would suggest that Heenan was the one with the quickest wit. That didn't translate into being the GOAT on the mic as adjudicated by the WBM voters, but it does place him in a respectable third.

With the other results playing out as they did...The Rock vs. Ric Flair became the inevitable first place head-to-head matchup that many thought it should be. See how nicely this round robin thing works? And in this matchup, your winner is...
