I prefer Flair's work to Rocky's, but I have to say that Rocky was an enormous megastar almost entirely based on mic work...his ringwork was passable at best, he didn't have amazing theme music, he didn't have as much of a defined character to build around...I think, just barely, he deserves the nod here. But man it's not by much.

As good as the Rock was at his peak, all he really has is peak; he had a short career, and his work seems unlikely to hold up quite as well as Flair's and Heenan's has given Rock's recent semi-return of awfulness. I can dig up Flair promos from about 20 years before Rock even started and be utterly amazed, and was still impressed with a lot of Flair's promos after the Rock became an actor. Heenan has a similar track record of longevity and legacy, just to a lesser extent then Flair. It seems too soon to tell for Jericho in terms of legacy because he is so recent; definitely I don't think he's in Flair's league, but I could see voting for him over Heenan maybe if we did this again in 10 years. Unlikely, but possible.

I forgot to mention, but unlike the single-elimination one-on-one rounds, if there's a tie we don't go to OT. A tie is a tie and is figured into their final round robin standings as such.

I went against Heenan last round because I think Foley is the GOAT talker. He's the best here though. Outside of Jericho, I really wouldn't have a problem with any of them winning.

Shame that Austin isn't in the final four because he probably deserves to be there more than Rock/Heenan but oh well.

Flair deserves to win this and I knew he would. Jericho is my personal favorite wrestler of all time so I had to vote for him. Heenan is easily my favorite manager and commentator of all time and I prefer his work over The Rock. However even though Heenan's whole career was based mic work, The Rock became an international star based on his mic work plus he did have more memorable moments so he just barely got my vote. I have no problem with Flair winning because he is the greatest promo man of all time, however I would personally put both Jericho and Austin ahead of The Rock.
