can't get into it too much without mentioning undrafteds but the other options involve belts/wrestlers that i don't want to shut the door on this early. i can certainly understand wanting to go with 2 or 3 other matches here but this is a clear top 5, imo.
regardless of what happened inside the ring, this match just felt bigger than many of its modern comparisons. i'm an older dude (26), so perhaps i'm biased, but the early-mid90s and attitude era just had an added aura that i can't describe. maybe it's just because i was a kid and much more into wrestling back then but when i watch youtube vids of the "great" modern matches i'm pretty underwhelmed (with a few exceptions, of course). a few possible explanations: significantly shorter title reigns + more titles = waters down title value; more TV shows/PPVs water down the build up to the big 4, etc.
