Yeah I know you've probably already got a thread, I couldn't find it so here's another one.

A huge part of wrestling for me is the crowd reaction. My list:

This has to be top 5 best crowd moments right? (chosen over him actually winning at WM30)

Along with:

Honestly, I lived through that (staying up through the night in the UK to watch) but couldn't remember any defining moments. Every time the glass shattered the crowd went mental. I was thinking moments outside the norm, the crowd going mental for Austin was business as usual.

If we're going to go with "crowd reaction" instead of pop, I don't think anyone will dispute that Brock beating the streak to stunned silence is the absolute best reaction ever.

This next one is considered by many to be the loudest/greatest pop in the history of wrestling:

I think in time the reaction to Roman the night after WM 33 will be added to a greatest reaction list.

A bunch of ECW moments could go on this list. Sadly, I don't think the original footage is easy to obtain.

Lawler invades the ECW arena

Other things like:
Cornette invading at the next ECW arena show the next month.
Sabu being in the ring with Taz when the lights come up at November to Remember 1995.
Rick Rude turning on Sandman and Dreamer
Bam Bam winning the world title.
The promo from Heyman with the announcement of the first PPV.

I think a top crowd reaction that doesn't get filed under "loudest pops" is the prematch introductions with The Wyatts vs. The Shield at Elimination Chamber 2014. Sadly I don't see this on YT. Probably on DM though.

This entire match has nonstop heat:

Also, when The Rock's music hits at WM XXX when Austin and Hulk are already in the ring, the crowd explodes.

You know, I wanted to do this thread without looking things up and I sat here thinking "did WCW have any great crowd reactions". I'd say that qualifies. Goldberg pinning Hogan on Nitro for the belt has to be way up there as well.

RVD vs. John Cena @ One Night Stand 2006

One that I don't think gets much recognition simply because of how many awesome pops Austin got is his entrance at WM X-Seven. The place goes absolutely nuts when the glass shatters. When I look back at these 2001 shows with Austin, I feel robbed of his greatest entrance theme which I think would enhance these moments. The Disturbed one is fine but his original will always be the best.

I think WCW has one of the most iconic crowd reactions in history.

In terms of pops, Malenko and Sting at Uncensored 97 are the most memorable to me. I remember 97/98 WCW crowds being pretty hot in general.

Goldberg beating Raven was big. Lex beating Hogan on Nitro is another off the top of my head.

Great thread so far.

Picking on the local sports team on national TV is usually one of the dumbest things about wrestling, but this moment never gets old for me. The nuclear reaction to the punchline is perfect.
