That's actually a really good point

I’ve only tried a couple of episodes of The Good Place, and it wasn’t bad but it didn’t grab me. I’ve vaguely intended to get back to it to give it more of a chance. Have been a Ted Danson fan as long as I’ve watched TV.

Once I’m fully current on Brooklyn Nine-Nine (which is a lot of fun), I’ll put Good Place in as my next comedy to try to work through.

I thought moonlight was meh and shape of water sucked. Then throw in sequels and comic book and ****ty star wars. I see maybe 3 a year in theaters now
The year before Moonlight was outstanding.

Spotlight, Room, Max Max, Inside Out, Ex Machina, Bridge of Spies, Creed, Big Short all worth watching.

Moonlight year was okay. La La Land was awesome and should have won.

Last year was hot garbage.

Yeah, I just recently rewatched La La Land and actually liked it even better than my first viewing. Great movie.

I really couldn't stand Mad Max, but Spotlight was tremendous, Bridge of Spies/Big Short/Creed were really good, Room I was not a big fan of but I would agree with "worth watching" (if you have a strong stomach).

Same with me, I fell out of it after the second episode for whatever reason. I just binged the first two seasons and it just gets better and better.

I know we have moved past it but that injury was pretty brutal.

Also enjoy The Good Place.

The football injury? Word back sounded super good and he'd be fine next year

I'm still hurting though. What a **** night

Yeah it looked pretty hideous but glad he's ok for the next season. I should pick a team to follow so I can legitimately heckle all the other teams. Fun!

Leaning towards any team, or are you a blank slate?

I know ppl make fun of hand egg, but man I can't think of a sport I enjoy watching more

I'd prefer an underdog team that still has potential.

Chargers or Colts.

The Patriots are a #2 seed, so they're basically America's underdog

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but an OT\LC thread seemed like a safe bet...

Will there be a Royal Rumble pool running again this year? I'm going and figure any extra gambling I can do on it will make it that much more fun. I'd even be down for some kind of $5 per match thing against someone for the whole card. Though that would probably have to be randomized since you guys know who is gonna win every match anyway...or at least have way more info than me.

There's generally never been a problem filling Rumble pools. It usually comes down to whether someone is willing to run one.

That said, it does seem to wind up happening every year after someone steps up.

Well this was a good recommendation for a couple of fun teams to follow this weekend.

I can't remember a divisional round this dull. Hoping the Saints take care of the Eagles, but wouldn't be mad about finally getting a competitive game if Philly can muster that much.

Championship Sunday looks good. Looking forward to both games.

(Very much hoping against a Patriots-Rams Super Bowl. Any other combo is fine.)

DWetzel,
Darrell Bevell is a fine offensive coordinator who was unfairly maligned in Seattle. Also he once went to a Taylor Swift concert with Jared Allen. Good hire for Detroit IMO.

Seattle had a dangerous offense for his entire tenure. Agree that it's a good hire.

I knew at the time of this post the game's reputation for having some tedium, but I find that I'm really struggling to get into it. Have only been putting in sessions of like an hour at a time every few days, but I expect a great game to hook me and to cause my one-hour sessions to suddenly become four or five, and to become an addiction that I have to feed daily for a while.

Anyway, I'm going to keep plugging away at it. Still hoping I'll fall in love with it.

I had the same experience. The initial snow trudging is brutal and mostly serves as a boring tutorial. Once I got some actual freedom it definitely picked up for me. I will note, it also took some time after moving from the snow landscape, I needed a lot of adjustment to the controls and how everything worked once I got into free mode.

Desperately hoping that today doesn't turn into a Patriots/Rams SB. I wouldn't have any problem sucking it up and rooting for the Pats in that game, but it would certainly be a traumatic rehash of that Steelers/Cards Super Bowl where the whole ****ing Seahawks fanbase decided that it was acceptable to root for a division rival in the SB.
