SUMMER SLAM 2014 SUMMER SLAM 2014

I think that it's extremely likely that they had a loose plan to eventually put Brock under Daniel Bryan (possibly after taking the belt off him at SummerSlam), but Bryan's injury has really ****ed a number of things up in what they had in mind.

There really is a shortage of guys for Brock to defend the title against if he wins it. There's Cena, Reigns, and ummm...I don't know. You could turn Orton face, there's that. Maybe Jericho I guess. The optimist in me would say that it would create a great situation in that they would be forced to build guys up, but most likely it would just be guys getting quickly hotshotted within a month to one title shot and then going back to being lost in the shuffle.

Cesaro pulling off the swing on bork would be all sorts of awesome

Cesaro would be a good candidate as well if they hadn't decided to have him randomly begin insta-tapping to abdominal stretches applied by Mat Shoulders.

I think Seth will be cashing in whenever Reigns becomes champion. It would make a great rivalry moving forward.

If Brock wins, when does he drop the title?

I cant see him dropping at a B PPV, so does he drop it at Survivor Series, Rumble or WM31?
I can picture Heyman carrying the title on screen while giving promos when Brock isn't there.

What else is Brock doing? Why can't he do full time for a few months?

1. the champion should never be wrestling except on ppvs anyway (wwe's current model of x vs y on raw for 6 straight weeks then the PPV match between x vs y BUT THIS TIME IT COUNTS! is beyond idiotic)

2. the champion should be spending tv time in between ppvs doing promos about the next feud

3. bork sucks at words. heyman is his mouthpiece. heyman is incredible at being the mouthpiece for MY CLIENT BORKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK LASERRRRRRRRRRRRR

4. heyman is a full time character

5. bork is therefore a full time character via transitive property

6. putting the title on bork has no flaws whatsoever that are better solved by having dabbadoo hold it

Every report I've seen has Brock losing to Roman at WM 31 for "Roman's Mania moment", as if he needs one at this stage of his career.

I hope DB comes back, wins Rumble, faces Brock and don't care if he wins or loses. My only dream match left. Make it happen.

I always thought I was all alone on this, but yes absolutely 100% this.

Yeah I hate it too. I actually think all champions should only be in championship matches.

Brock doesn't suck at words though. He's just not as good as Heyman.

If it's any consolation, Sheamus is going to take on Daniel Bryan at this past year's Mania.

Any chance we get a really AIDS finish where Lesnar is DQ'ed, Rollins comes to cash in on a beaten Cena, only to hand over the briefcase to Brock via HHH's orders, who cashes in the MITB and wins the title that way?

I mean I can't see that at all. If Brock is leaving with the belt tonight he just wins the regularly-scheduled match somehow (dirty I'm sure).

In an alternate universe where they could do it tonight, I have no idea how they would even go about it. Heyman double-crosses Brock and goes with Cena I guess is how it would be?

But anyway yeah that's not happening.

Cena joins the authority is what I was thinking. But yeah, it won't happen.

The optimal play tonight is to book the main event identically to Summerslam 2002 (i.e. Bork clean for the title).
