With the caveat that I basically only watch the 4 major PPVs a year...what the **** are they doing.

I know that the WWE has basically ruined finishers, but that was a fine place to conclude that match, why keep that going???

It used to be the champ and whoever the current number one contender was out of the other few guys in that tier. So Honky Tonk man would be intercontinental champ, but ultimate warrior, rude, beefcake, macho man, jake the snake, would all be trying to get it.

Now it feels like there is a champ, and a stable of just one guy that's going for it.

What I mean is, who all are in the picture for the title?

And I could be wrong, just as a casual this is how it feels.
