Has he had any significant singles matches below 3 stars? His storylines have been trash, though I don't hate him constantly retaining through cowardice - Rollins was going over clean way too many times as champ for a heel

Last night? That match was awful. I've always believed that Roman's pretty bad in the ring but is good at selling and can have a great match with a great worker because of that. I'd always held Owens as a great worker but I'm going to chalk it up to an off night and Roman being Roman. I mean, within 5 minutes of the match starting Owens was already starting to just do chinlocks on Roman and did one that felt like it lasted 3+ minutes. There's no excuse for that. Not even, "he's a heel, he's not supposed to give the fans what they want".

Not really an excuse for how terrible his matches have been since he won the strap. This goes far beyond terrible endings.
