It's just so insane to read the news and hear that he was at Wrestlemania weekend looking very "decent" and all and to hear this news. I just hope the cause of death is not suicide.

I was talking to a buddy Monday night while watching RAW and kept telling him that it looked like Warrior was going to have a heart attack during that segment. Not his normal crazy running rampant no clue what he's talking about type of "that dude's gonna have a heart attack if he doesn't calm down" .... but legit. He couldn't catch his breath. He couldn't shake the rope. He kept pausing during his speech. He was practically purple.

Something was very very wrong with him Monday ... this is so very sad to read today. I got chills when I saw this breaking across Twitter as I was really hoping that what I saw Monday was just a guy that was tired from the media circus that comes with the WWE HOF

Talk about an eerie final public appearance

Quote:
"No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man's heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them bleed deeper in others something larger than life, then his essence, and his spirit will be immortalized by the story tellers, by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honor him and make the running the man did live forever. You are the legend makers of ultimate warrior. In the back, I see many potential legends, some with in their Warrior spirits. And you will do the same for them. You will decide if they will live with passion and intensity, so much so that you will tell your stories and make them legends as well. I am Ultimate Warrior. You are the ultimate warrior fans. And the spirit of Ultimate Warrior will run forever." -Ultimate Warrior (4-7-14).

Rewatched last night's segment as a few of you have.

Really does feel like a suicide note to me.

I never actually saw Warrior wrestle while he was active, and watching his career via WWF Superstars VHS tapes that my brother recorded, I considered him one of my favourites. I loved everything about him. From his theme music, to his running to the ring, to his power moves, I loved it all. I never understood his promos, but his yelling seemed cool. lol

Screw his haters, the dude was the man and I marked out last night when his theme hit and he came walking to the ring. I marked even harder when he shook the ropes and put a warrior mask on. I was very happy to see his HoF induction. Screw that DVD, too. I'm never watching that again.

I guess that whole speech and I guess this whole thing goes hand in hand with the persona of the Ultimate Warrior. I just didn't think an event like this would ever happen, regardless on how crazy the thought of it is.

I was no great fan of Warrior the person based on all that I knew, but this is obviously still quite sad.

As much flack as Warrior the wrestler takes among the IWC (and with good reason; he obviously wasn't great on any technical level), he generally did his part in helping produce great matches on the biggest shows. Warrior-Rude from SummerSlam '89, Warrior-Hogan from WrestleMania VI, and Warrior-Savage from WrestleMania VII will remain three of my favorite matches of the Golden Era.

Which DVD? The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior? The funny thing is that earlier this morning, I read a review from 411mania.com of it, just for kicks and from what I've read, there was a lot of bile in that documentary.

I really hope it wasn't suicide, but after rewatching his promo from last night it really seems the most likely.

I was out of town Monday and was watching the dvr of Raw and seriously had the same thought that something seemed wrong. Not five minutes later I saw a friend had posted on FB that he was dead. Feel soooooo horrible for his little girls after what he told them Saturday night. Unbelievable.

Yeah, the Self-Destruction one. Some of what they were saying may have been true, but it seems to me that most of it was propaganda.

I was thinking about going to get his new one the day it came out (I never do that), but decided it was a waste to go to the store just to pick up a DVD. I hope it isn't too hard to find now.

I hope it wasn't suicide, he seemed like a devoted father to his two beautiful daughters.

My favorite match I ever witnessed live was a steel cage match involving Ultimate Warrior vs. Honky Tonk Man. I still have my Ultimate Warrior Wrestling Buddy I got for Christmas 1989. My sons use it all the time to practice moves on.

Nah it's spot on really. Terrible that his kids have to grow up the rest of the way without a father but I sure have to think that a suicide would be considerably worse for them to deal with. I'm glad it wasn't that.
