It's like you read the thoughts in my own head. That was incredibly moving. Warrior was lucky to have married such a strong woman.

Yeah that was really well written. When i started reading it i was lounging back in my chair and by the end I was sitting up straight leaning in. Really drew me in and could her emotion while reading it.

Im really happy that Warrior and WWE reconciled. Not only because it allowed Warrior to have his moment but also because the help WWE have given his family after his death has apparently helped alot. She also mentions the Tribute video which I can only imagine means to her and the kids. I was never a big warrior mark and I've prob watched that tribute about 20 times since it aired on Raw and get chills each time.

They just showed the tribute video again on the Network. It gets me every time when the younger daughter looks at the older daughter as he is saying that they weren't even born yet when he was doing his thing.

Reading the Bret Hart book does not paint Warrior in a good light. Didn't seem like the nicest guy.

Warrior made a ton of enemies along the way and almost certainly wasn't the nicest guy at many points. Thankfully for him he had some nice moments at the end of his life that humanized him to a decent extent and made him come across more as a flawed but well-meaning guy.

My opinion of him didn't materially change at his death, but it did incorporate "husband and father of wife and young daughters who clearly loved him," which obviously makes it an unfortunate event no matter what stupid things he said and did earlier in life.

It seems like he knew the end was near and made an effort at the end to mend some fences, maybe realizing the error of his ways at points. Like I said in a previous post in this thread, I'm glad we got to see a different side to the man before he passed. When people think or know the end is near or even under go a life altering illness, they do a lot of reflecting. Maybe he really did change significantly.

Sure he wasn't the nicest guy, but he was no Tom Billington. He had his flaws like everyone else and may have said a few things that he shouldn't have, but that doesn't mean he was a bad guy imo.

Judging by his wife's words he must have had plenty of redeemable features.

I would hope we could find a higher bar than Dynamite Kid for people to clear.

Ok. Sure Warrior wasn't the nicest guy, but he was no Honky Tonk man.

Hogan has to be the biggest scum in the history of the industry.

In the video linked in the story Hogan talks about how HHH tells him not to approach Warrior which most likely means Warrior himself told WWE he didn't want anything to do with Hogan at all. Which is kinda confirmed by Hogan himself when he mentions how Warrior never even made eye contact with him at the HOF, even though Hogan was right in front of him the whole time, yet Hogan still finds a way to approach Warrior at WM30 and conveniently enough he finds him when a camera crew is following Warrior around the superdome.
