I got Mark Henry as my pick to win the battle royal.

He's big, Texan, and probably about to retire soon.

If Cesaro can make it to WM (which I'm guessing he isn't), I'd take him. Otherwise, sticking with "The Big Show?!?!??!".

If they actually want to try and make the battle royal a thing going forward, I think it would be best to have Big Show win this year and then again next year too. That way you can try and use it the following year to give a small catapult to someone when they win it

They can also call up 5-8 NXTers to round out the field if they need it

The catapult of besting Big Show in the battle royal generally just leads to the person getting slotted as Paul Heyman's secondary henchman and ultimately jobbed out while being told by the owner of the company that they're failing to reach for the brass ring.

It's a bit weird to build Big Show back up as the rub-giver again after that.

I don't think it would require some big build. After he wins this year, aside from the night after WM you don't even need to bring it up until the build to next year's WM. It literally costs nothing to do this, so if it doesn't work in the end, it's not a big deal

It is fascinating that these people all had a lot of screen time in the last year. They can't blame injuries for this being uninspiring. Kane for awhile in the Spring/Summer was on TV as much as anyone if not more than anyone else, Goldust and R-truth are in those awful segments constantly, the Wyatts are in main event segments and matches often on TV. These people should feel like stars, but instead they feel unworthy of even being in a battle royal for nothing.

in kayfabe is there supposed to be a huge difference between Royal Rumbles and Battle Royales? As in the skill needed to win them.

Why are the biggest and strongest guys always the favorites to win battle royals but never win the rumble.

On a related note, the really need to change the name for that thing or shorten it or abbreviate it or whatever.....Having to hear "Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale" in full every time its referred to gets annoying fast.

Everyone starts at the same time in a battle royal, whereas big guys who enter the Rumble early get tired out quickly and are easy pickings.

? Big guys are clearly the favourites in royal rumbles... I mean how is anybody going to get someone with the mass of Mark Henry over the top rope?

Let's not forget Kane being the greatest performer in Rumble history despite never winning.

Can you believe they pay like 25 full time writers to come up with this?

And then they just some 70 year old man make all the decisions anyway?

Brilliant business plan in all regards.

Not only that, but then people would complain that keep featuring the same people and don't give others a chance. I dislike WWE's booking too, but sometimes they can't win either way

i think the fact charlotte is in the middle is evidence that they are just mixing it up and don't actually believe those are their top 7 draws

I just hope those aren't the last three matches, because that means we could be looking at a 5 minute triple threat match sandwiched in between Shane/Taker and HHH/Reigns

the way RTWM has been booked if you told me the ladies triple threat match is the main event and it's going to go 30 minutes I'd be way more excited than I am now tbh

Spoiler:
"It's a tough one because there is no one answer. There is no one reason why someone would want to boo me. Maybe they don't like what I wear, how I sound, maybe I did something to offend them, but for me, it's hard because I'm under the microscope and I'm dealing with a lot of different things and there's a lot of things flying my way. For me, I can only continue to stay within myself and worry about the things I can control and the things I can control are, Am I healthy?; Am I showing up to where I need to be on time?; Am I here to perform and do my job? If I do that, then our fans, they can cheer me, they can boo me, as long as we all show up to the arena, everything will be fine. We'll be able to create that awesome experience, create that energy. As for the reasons why these things happen, I don't know. I do know I have a lot of supporters. These people have my back. There's nothing that anybody can say negatively to me that will make me believe you are correct. It's just your opinions. I'm an ex-football player, so I've been in a home environment, I've played in an away environment. As long as I know the supporters are still by me, even if they're not in the arena, I hear them on social media and I know they're out there. If you're riding with me, it's going to be a good ride. If you're going against me, we're sorry for what's going to happen next.

I don't know what else I'd expect the guy to say though. He's not pushing himself.
