Ambrose/Bork has a chance to be really ****ing good in a total carnage sort of way

Other than that idk what there is to get excited about

my only complaint is rematching finn/joe. figured that last one ended pretty straightforward and would have loved to see it shaken up a bit. much much more excited for nxt than wm at this point. though the undercard of wm contains styles, ko, and zayn, plus we get bork laser in a street fight so i think the first 2.5 hrs of mania will actually be pretty good while the last 1.5 will be hot garbage

Nakamura vs. Zayn is going to be out of this world. Nakamura can be such a troll/******* in the ring. Seeing that vs. Zayn would be so great. I have a feeling they may tone that down but that's what makes him special.

Hopefully between NXT and WM there's a real strong MOTYC because there really haven't been any great matches in WWE yet.

Nakamura is my favorite active wrestler and has been for a little bit. Back before he signed with NXT there was a rumor going around here that NJPW was going to have a show running against NXT and I was seriously considering going to it for Nakamura over the nxt show. I don't think I've been more hype for a match in a long, long time. I'm expecting 4.5+

I am actually excited for Taker/McMahon as an overbooked spectacle/trainwreck. Reigns/Triple H feels like it's going to be a snoozer predictable Mania main event reminiscent of Triple H vs. Batista or something, but with the possible intrigue of seeing Reigns get booed lustily while the confetti comes down.

I mostly hope the undercard wrestlers (Owens/Zayn, Styles/Jericho, divas triple-threat especially) get enough time to do their thing.

I have a bad feeling Nakamura/Zayn is going to underwhelm.

I think h/reigns has to be an overbooked mess. A by the numbers singles match ending in roman winning gets booed to oblivion. Vince is generally tone deaf as hell about pushing what he wants but if the last 2 years are any indication he's smart enough to know his marquee PPV can't end like that

Wyattfearence followed by an ambrose run-in followed by a rollins run-in + face turn to reunite the shield seems like the best play to put the belt on roman and get cheers for at least WM

If however it is a boring roman wins lol I will watch raw wire to wire the next night cuz oh man will that be brutal

i hate that they went the triple threat route for the divas title.

was a huge fan of charlotte and sasha in NXT but they've been flat out bad since the call-up. charlotte's roadblock match vs. nattie was probably the best i've seen out of either of them. thought this WM match would be their big breakout moment finally. problem with the triple threat is that it doesn't compliment their strengths at all. they are both great at ring psychology, telling a story, and technical mat wrestling. the triple threat format basically eliminates all three of those in favor of a spot fest, and divas matches are obviously not "spotty" (do they even go to the top rope?)

becky was great over the last few months and i expect they felt like she earned her spot on the card, which is hard to disagree with, but i still think a triple threat a crutch for a bad creative team who can't pace itself or manage to juggle two compelling storylines at once.

Same. I really wanted Sasha heads-up for the belt. Becky had her shot.

fyp.

I'd be willing to bet that Reigns vs. HHH is straight up. Maybe they make it NHB to make it watchable but that seems unlikely because they gave it to another main event match. Can't do a cage because HiaC. They seem handcuffed.

Divas triple threat will surprise regardless of the build.

I've been a solid WM defender but even I have to admit there is a bit of filler there

A second divas match is simply unnecessary.
Usos Dudleys is simply not a WM match. It should be on a Raw pre-show.
Ryback is a huge waste of Kalisto.

Kind of disappointing that rubbish is there when they could have just booked Kalisto better and extended the length of other matches. It's not like they don't have matches that could go the distance.

Who would even interfere on HHH's behalf?

About 10-15 years ago they started bringing back some of the past talent for short, fun Old Timer's matches. Now they call them Main Events.

Cesaro is booked for shows a week after WM. I doubt he would do a run in during the main event though.

So WWE Network sent out an e-mail today and asked us to use the tag #Wrestlemania on social media to tell everyone what we're looking forward to the most. I'll try:

I can't wait for the main event with the guy the fans go nuts for vs the clear cut heel. #Wrestlemania

The 50 year old guy we haven't seen in 6 months vs the 46 year old guy who was never even a full time wrestler ever that hasn't been around since 2009. #Wrestlemania

Not Roman Reigns. #Wrestlemania

I can't see being able to even muster up the energy to hate-watch this. This will rival 27 as the worst Mania in 15 years.

I have low expectations and will watch. Granted, I'll probably only have it as background noise or do something else until the final 3 or 4 matches. Somehow last years was decent so I think Vince can pull something out. Just like with the last couple of years, just in the weeks leading up to WM, Vince is listening to the fans (I'm referencing Roman not doing much talking but doing some ass kicking). I'd love to see an updated card

Just read this

- WWE informed Sky Italy, which carries all WWE pay-per-view events, that WrestleMania 32 will go five to 20 minutes past the fourth hour.

Sounds like a good idea tbh. They schedule for 3hr 55mins, something on the undercard goes long, and HHH needs to have his 25 minute epic, so gotta make sure he gets that in.

I just realized there's a very strong possibility Sting runs in to help Shane beat Taker. Sting entire WWE run has been anti-The Authority so it would make sense with his character. Also it would result in the Taker/Sting WM moment that so many people seem to want.

Also, Sting said that he's not "officially retired" like some dirt sheet said he was a couple weeks ago and that his injury isn't as bad as was reported. I still don't think he'll ever wrestle again, but this sure opens up the door to doing something in that match. Though, it would've been better if he had said nothing to make it a surprise. My guess is he "officially" retires at the HoF.
