Good luck Dylan on RG3. He has the physical tools to succeed in the Skins system, which favors a QB with movement and deep ball ability. On the other hand, 3 1st round picks surrendered in one day is eerily reminiscent of the Herschel Walker deal (AKA the Vikings give the Cowboys a dynasty)

the redskins have in effect traded blackmon, barkley, another #1 pick and a #2 pick for the rights to RG3, who if he had the slightest bit of sense would refuse to play for them

Again as I posted in the lol redskins thread in SE. People are underestimating just how bad the Redskins have been for the last 20 years. We either go 6-10 or 7-9 every year. If RG3 is a bust and isn't as good as he's expected to be, is going 4-12 or 3-13 for the next five years really that big of a difference? We have such a long history of being terrible that I really don't mind the trade at all. Between trading for McNabb and signing Haynesworth to all that money, I have zero faith in our organization to make good offseason moves. At least RG3 gives the fan base something to be excited about. Imagine for the last 20 years having people like Patrick Ramsey and Rex Grossman as your starting QB. You would be so happy your team made this trade because RG3 is something that can at least give you hope that they will turn it around.

We had checked out of the hotel for the day, were leaving town in a few hours...there weren't a lot of options except for "be paranoid and bring nothing valuable along on a trip to begin with." Admittedly that's the attitude I've had since then when going on a road trip.

Hotels will keep your bags etc even when you check out until you leave

Yeah, I'm old enough that I can remember that Redskins Super Bowl win (over the Bills obviously), and I just can't muster a ton of sympathy for a fanbase if I've gotten to see them celebrate a Super Bowl win. I started watching Super Bowls at the point of the Bills' first loss. I pretty much root for the Bills at all times because I feel for their fans. Not only the Super Bowl loss, but a huge stomach punch playoff loss also with the Music City Miracle bull****.

Browns fans deserve no pity, or even any oxygen really, so no sympathy rooting takes place there. Same for Lions fans. But yes, they are even fewer accomplishments than my Seahawks (who at least have a conference championship), which is saying something.
