remember when cm punk had that 400 day WWE title run where was a ****ty face and FINALLY he turned and led to by far his best work in the run up that led to him dropping the title to a part timer nobody wanted to see main event WM cuz he got himself exhausted just getting to the ring every time he wrestled in a situation that was made even worse cuz he finally looked like he was more than ready to be in a WM main event?

anyway, i don't know why i thought of that just now

also on the card:

could be good

i've always loved señor joe and really hope they commit to pushing him to the moon. that being said, poor sami Zayn

skip

bayley reminds me a lot of colin kaepernick. she's a product of the bay area, she went supernova super early and everyone loved her and thought she was the next big thing, now she sucks and i don't want to see her on my tv. probably doesn't even stand for the national anthem and is gonna grow some disgustingly stupid afro

anyway. let us PPV!

Totally didn't realize there was a ppv tonight. Might be in for the oldberg match

I'm interested in Oldber/Owens, Reigns/BRAUNNNNNNNNN, and Joe/Zayn. I just hope that the championship match, and Reigns match don't turn into overbooked messes.

I think your fears could be realized in the Reigns/Braun match, but I think the other championship match will be relatively clean

Braun winning 100% clean would be the biggest shock since Bork pinned UT

Not watching Raw has insulated me from this alleged Bayley suckage. Perhaps the optimal play is to just start skipping everything she does in order to keep my positive feelings for her alive.

That's certainly the optimal route. The Kaep comparison is hilarious and accurate.

Charlotte though. If she really can't have a good match with Charlotte, I have to see for myself.

Incidentally, the apparent downfall of Bayley makes me pine for a Dids return. Nothing, absolutely nothing would upset him more than a board of bitter smarks all turning against her.

Great thread title. Well done.

Might watch this. Interest in the product is really low right now though.

I'm at least interested in a couple of matches here. Braun/Roman and Sami/Joe might be quality.

Sadly, I think I'm going to give Vinny Mac $10. My father-in-law wants me to come over to watch Mania so I might as well get this one with it.

I'll be in. Watching on delay though.

Stop it, announcers. Just ****ing stop it. You don't get to keep feigning shock and awe that someone kicked out of the blue thunderbomb.

How is joe so quick and agile that big?

such a shame the Blue Thunderbomb will never get a pinfall
Oldberg: The PPV Quote

You would think they could at least give him a win or two on the blue thunderbomb in a distraction situation and thus justify acting like it's a legit near-fall move. Alas, it just does not have the cachet of the dreaded schoolboy.

Anyway, pretty fun opener, brought down a bit by the obviousness of the result.

Match was ok, these 2's styles don't seem to mesh well

Zayn is basically Raw's dolph Ziegler replacement. When he was called up I thought he would do big things but I guess his injury history will keep him JTTS

I haven't given up hope that Zayn could get a big push one day.
