i actually dont think nexus was done that badly really. it gave us a decent period of awesomeness, and the orton/miz/barrett aspect as well as the sheamus/cena aspect initially i thought were great. failing to capitalise on barrett's momentum in the aftermath was probably a bigger failure than anything that happened in the angle itself.

punk winning title gave us mitb, which is still the best ppv ive ever seen. its sad how botched it was afterwards, but it gave us at least a couple of weeks of amazingness.

Re: Official WrestleMania Thread

Some tweets regarding if JBL will come back as an announcing role on Smackdown.

Quote:
- JBL teased a return to Smackdown, posting on Twitter over the weekend:

I was only debating coming back, not very serious. But after @MichaelCole shows he is still alive and an idiot. I'm coming back! #smackdown.

Michael Cole responded with:

It was jordan and pippen. You got glory I did the work. sorry I am actually working and not golfing at st Andrews or fishing in the Bahamas. Enjoy retirement.

I am sure they have a spot for you at nxt and fcw. Enjoy learning the ropes again

That tweet exchange better not just be a sick tease.

We can handle Batista appearing daily at various international airports, but JBL faking us out would be just too much.

Re: Official WrestleMania Thread

Is this the first time they went to the effort to license matches from libraries they dont own and so strongly mention a wrestler's history pre WWF/E? What stood out most in the trailer for me is that they just didnt shy away from the fact he was a pretty big star before they got him but they also had no clue what to do with him when they did.

Not really, back in 2004. WWE manage to get the NJPW thumbs-up to get Pegasus Kid/Liger, Wild Pegasus/Black Tiger Super J Cup, Wild Pegasus/Great Sasuke Super J Cup Finals for Hard Knocks. Also, I think they got the AAA thumbs-up to get Los Gringos Locos/Octagon and El Hijo del Santo in late 1994 that was highlighted in Eddie Guerrero's Cheating Death Stealing Life, also released in 2004.
