They see a lot of value in Morrison. He gets to go out there a lot, job out and still remain over with a lot of the crowd cos he is pretty and is relatively good at jumping.
And yeah, the WWE when they are trying to keep talent they push them harder than any other point in their career. Jeff was given a WHC run, pretty sure Punk wasnt signed when he got to go out and say whatever he wanted to start the MITB build, JoMo got to win like his first match of the year against the ****ing US Champ of all people.
It makes a lot of sense, its just funny to consider that if Morrison signs the dotted line then he will probably insta go back to weekly jobbing. It just comes down to if they are going out and the company doesnt care or they 100% cant change their mind or if they are going out and they want them to stay.
And yeah, TNA would have probably pushed him to the moon, but being a WWE worker who shifts a lot of merch, is never short on a lunch and gets weekly pay checks even if he is lying down to get them makes a ****load more money than almost every TNA talent. He probably out earns everyone but Hogan, Bischoff, Sting, Hardy, Angle, maybe AJ and maybe RVD in his current role and he would likely have gotten a good bump in his downside guarantee and bonuses if he was smart about negotiating a new WWE contract.
