But do you think it ever actually hurts the push of a wrestler when they're a heel who gets cheered? I think as long as they're getting a loud reaction, they're in good shape.
Lance Storm theorized as such on his website once that if you cheer a heel like Henry because he's really good as a heel it might send the wrong message to the writers
The smark reaction is barely going to register anyway. I really don't think that me and fans like me matter in how we react if the rest of the crowd isn't going along with it.

Well yes, because there are cities full of smarks, a few of them. But in those cities I'm also not going to be able to change anything with what I'm personally doing.
And yeah, i think ADR could do with a gimmick tweak. Lets move beyond the cars. Id have him fire Ricardo too, have him go to wrestling local jobbers using a "serious fighter" style gimmick with a lot more brutality than before emphasising his badassness then on the third or fourth jobber have him face a masked wrestler called Chimaera who beats him with a corkscrew moonsault, then ADR gets a rematch the next Raw and loses by DQ failing to break the cross arm breaker on a rope break, then have them do a mask vs contract match where ADR wins at the PPV, then he desmasks RR who grabs the mic, states he doesnt care cos he already has a WWE contract then starts beating down ADR.
Feud them through to WM, blow it off, send Ricardo to Smackdown to be built as a midcard comedy face who can back it up with some decent wrestling. Have ADR who mostly dominated the actual results (RR is the plucky loser and gets over by taking punishment and occasionally stealing a win to keep looking credible) go straight back to the main event with a feud keeping the serious fighter gimmick which emphasises his amateur wrestling and MMA history.

Makes too much sense imo.
Do we know how good Ricardo is in the ring? I remember seeing a few clips and being impressed with this general athleticism and move set but is he really someone who you could put in a match with ADR and have it work? I dunno enough about him to make a conclusion either way
noob in thread, quick question.....Anyone ever been to TLC ppv and was it worth it to go in person? My son's 7th bday is in December, just trying to figure out if I should take the 2 hr drive and shell out some extra $ for it or just go to RAW the following night in Philly about 10 mins away. tks
