Reading more into this Bryan also said he has 3 years left on his WWE contract, and I'm guessing that pays him more than he could get anywhere else, so he may mean 3 years from now. Maybe not if Vince is back to doing low guarantees I guess.

So, I finally decided to start watching old Raws from 97 right around the time of Bret Hart's heel turn and I have a question:

Who are the guys in the Nation of Domination at this point? I know Savio, Crush and Farooq, but there are like 5 to 6 other guys that come out with them, and nobody's mentioned their names once. There's a guy in a suit that I thought was Slick, but it can't be Slick, can it?

Just googled it and the guy in the suit is Clarance Mason. I have no idea who that is. I guess D'Lo is in there too, but I don't recall seeing him yet.

Clarence Mason was brought in as Jim Cornette's attorney in some lame angle to threaten a lawsuit to get British Bulldog a world title rematch. Then he hung around and, at a PPV a few months later, Cornette was knocked silly by Jose Lothario and Mason seized the opportunity to trick Cornette into signing away his rights to British Bulldog and Owen Hart when he didn't know what he was doing. So he managed them for a bit. Then he was with the Nation as their lawyer. Apparently he was a real life attorney.

D-Lo Brown used to come out as one of the guys in a suit who just blended in for a while before getting a bit of a push as an active competitor.

I was like, "wtf?"

I've always thought the Nation was underrated once they added the Rock, but the stuff I'm watching right now with Clarence and the rappers is garbage. They're after Ahmed Johnson because he hurt Farooq at WrestleMania 13 or something.
