I always feel so sad listening to the old JR commentaries though. It was just so incredible the atmosphere created at that time compared to now.

The JR commentary meme shows no signs of petering out. I think the soundboards could do with freshening up though. Hopefully some uber-geek fan spends hours trawling through old footage on the network for some new material.

Roberts took a flight yesterday to attend a show in Las Vegas. Roberts passed out on the plane, and has been unconscious since. An ambulance was taken to the plane, and Roberts was transported to a nearby hospital.

I am told that Roberts has double pneumonia, and doctors have said that his lungs are filled with fluid and there is a mass on his brain. I hope to have an update soon.

Double pneumonia is ****ing intense and not something a guy his age in his condition normally pulls through. Here's hoping he gets past it.

What's double pneumonia? I've had pneumonia before and it wasn't pretty. I can't even imagine what Jake is going through. Best wishes to him.

Both lungs.

For someone with his history of health issues and what we'd assume would be a fair amount of deterioration, double pneumonia is very serious.

Yeah I always thought he had some potential. I googled him every now and then and watched some of his mma fights. He was a decent wrestler for his size. Sad to see another wrestler die young.

So weird, I fell town a rabbit hole like two weeks ago and googled him and would swear I was surprised to discover he was dead. Sad. Never saw him work much (I first got into wrestling exactly when those promos were airing) but his look was awesome. One of my favorite No Mercy CAWS was basically based on him.
