That can't happen before WrestleMania. Orton has to get a world title shot and obviously Edge vs. Cena is one of the title matches.

Anyone think we should make an official Raw thread or is this just fine even past WM?

A running WWE thread would be cool. This kind of serves the purpose, but has a majority of content around Wrestlemania. I don't know if people are like me, but I only pay attention to WWE from right before the Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania, unless big things happen. My interest just seems to die out through the summer and fall.

We've been using this thread since last wrestlemania, we declare it an all things wrestling thread around page 3.

Sigh. I had high expectations for the MITB match and it's looking like WWE is just going to **** on it.

I could live with CM Punk even though he left a lot to be desired in last year's match, but Kane? And a match on ECW Tuesday with either Santino (love the character, not the wrestler) or Mark Henry getting in? JFC. I want a spot-fest damnit! Not Kane and his inability to do anything entertaining!

Ya that's dumb. I figured one bad wrestler would be fine but multiple is terrible.

WTF with HBK beating Kozlov. It makes no sense, way to ruin all of Kozlov's momentum for nothing. Somehow I think HBK had his hand in something backstage, he's a talented wrestler but he's a ****ing *******.

I think this has been assumed/known for a very long time.

That said- I don't know why you're shocked he went over. Yeah, it's a waste of the build up they had for Kozlov, but think about which 'Mania match is going to draw better?

I guess, I think Kozlov being unbeatable vs Undertaker's undefeated at WM considering Kozlov already beat Taker could draw solidly(although taker wins obv). HBK vs Taker will be solid. The main thing is WTF was the point of that match have HBK fight someone else to fight taker, have taker attack him thus setting up a match. There are plenty of ways to have HBK vs Taker without Kozlov losing. I don't even care about Kozlov that much but when you set him up for so long its pointless to have him lose his streak in such a trivial way.

Kozlov will be the new Umaga, but I still loved the original Umaga character. They'll build him up and then have him megajob to some ******ed face on multiple PPVs before he falls into obscurity.

They should've had HBK split from JBL, get pissy for some reason or another (any way to generate heat) and stake his claim to Mr. Wrestlemania, saying the only thing he's never done is beat UT on the biggest stage of them all. Give him a months' worth of cheap heat and you have a good face/heel matchup.

Also, bury Kozlov and don't let him near an arena. Him and Khali can highlight that new **** show on WGN for all I care.

Kozlov is fail, and doesn't deserve a match with UT at WM. His work has been dull, the crowd doesn't care about him, etc. He doesn't draw, plain and simple. Michaels and UT do, it's not Shawn using his stroke backstage.

Money In The Bank does look weak so far, though I wouldn't mind MVP or Mr. Kennedy walking out with the briefcase.

Going to be weird seeing two heels walk out champion of WM. I can't see Edge dropping it to the Big Show (unless they turn Edge face, eek), and it'd be really terrible to kill all of Orton's momentum by jobbing to HHH after winning the RR and taking out his family.

And the ME of WM25 is going to be Hulk Hogan and John Cena? Sighhhhhh

Also, Edge/Big Show is fail. I would've taken Edge/Cena over that.

Something about BS just rubs me the wrong way. Large mongoloids just suck to me, minus UT (if you classify him as one). They lack work rate and technical skills, which leads to boring ass wrestling.

I read that Evan Bourne will be back soon. He seems like an obvious choice for MitB.

I'm not sure if that's his fault or his character. He doesn't really do any heel stuff. He beat the Undertaker cleanly; and early in the Michaels match, Michaels escapes to the outside to "regroup" (isn't the heel is supposed to do that)? I guess they expect people to boo cause he's Russian, but it's not 1985.

The thing about Big Show they always **** up/will always be a problem is that he's actually really funny and charistmatic. If you've seen him on talk shows, or other things like that, he's hilarious. He would be so much better as a face, but you just can't have a SEVEN foot, Five HUNDRED pound guy as a face very easily.

He's terrible in the ring. He and Mark Henry should just have a never ending fued that everybody understands is the officiall piss/nacho break or something.

Yeah I do like Big Show as a person. Just a terrible performer. The Mayweather thing last year sucked, imo, even though they booked the actual match very well.

I just want a good Wrestlemania. It's the 25th after all. I want the MITB to outshine the Triple Ladder Match at WM2000. I want a main event that will be near the level of HBK/Hart at WM12. Please WWE, one time?

I think Kozlov is on the verge of being released. He sucks in the ring and on the mic. No one he wrestles can make him look good.

I think Edge is on the verge of a face turn. It seems like they are pushing an alliance with Vickie and Big Show. No matter what happens there's no way Vickie can be a face. So that kind of leaves Edge in the spot to have to turn face.

I also think Cena is on the verge of a heel turn after WM25. They need to do something with his character b/c he's getting stale.

Or they could just stop putting fat ugly women on my TV. I'm not really sure why Vickie is around, unless it's some "make good for Eddie" thing. Put one of the damn Diva's in the role, it'll keep them from stinking up the ring, and it's at least something to look at.

I kind of agree but you have to admit that she does a great job at drawing heat. She might be 1 of the best heels ever in the history of wrestling.

All she has to do is say "Excuse Me" and the crowd erupts in boos.

Vickie outside of EXCUSE ME is a trainwreck on the mic. Every time she talks it sounds like someone reading lines but pausing when the sentence stops at the end of the page and goes down to the next line. It's weird.

Monday showed why I loathe John Cena's in-ring work. Late in the match, Cena was put down on the outside and appeared dead. Edge stayed in the ring and allowed the ref to count. He got up to about 8 (Cena didn't move for a good 10-20 seconds) and right then, he shot up to his feet and leapt into the ring to beat the count. WTF he goes from dead to perfectly fine within 2 seconds? Then literally within the next 10 seconds he's running around and jumping around and doing his shtick like nothing even happened. JOHN YOU AREN'T SELLING BY PLAYING DEAD FOR 10 SECONDS THEN RESUMING YOUR NORMAL BEHAVIOR YOU ARE ONLY ENFURIATING ME.

Also Kozlov just went over Taker clean on Smackdown, I'm pretty confident he's not being released. The booking is really all over the place lately. One week both shows will be awesome and the next week they both suck ass. I suppose this is due in large part to their constant on-the-fly booking.
