What's everyone think of the PPV tonight? 9 matches, a few have to be good, although I'm worried the main event is going to be so jumbled due to interference.

I have silent hope. The only stinker on the card is 3D vs Nasty Boys and all 8 in the tournament can put on a match to some degree.

Will be interesting to see who comes out of that as the winner. Hogan has said he is going to make Abyss his Cena so he is the potential shock winner. But provided it isnt won by Anderson or Foley ill be happy enough with the result.

I am anticipating that it will be an overbooked smozzfest but I could be wrong. AJ vs Joe will be good anyway.

I haven't watched TNA in a while, but I'll be here to watch the PPV, what's the best hyped match?

Tonight's PPV should be really good. AJ vs Samoa should be off the charts. Hogan has said that he absolutely loves AJ and Samoa and has promised to make them giant stars. Look for these two to tear the house down, they will be working extra hard tonight because they know it's their time.

I always love a tournament so the card should be good. I haven't seen this week's impact yet so I might watch it before the PPV tonight.

TNA really have to pick up their game because WWE has been off the charts with their build to Wrestlemania. Their next few PPVs will be very very good, so look for TNA to come out with a really good show. I highly doubt tonight's TNA PPV will be overbooked. It could be wrestling heavy, but this is TNA so you never know what you will get. Their ratings have been dropping lately so hopefully they will cut all the bull****.

+1 to them not overbooking the show to the gills, at least outside at the end of the tournament. The AJ match will have some kind of interference unless ive missed a stipulation placed on Flair but that is par the course, plus the match should have an insane workrate to balance that.

The Nasty Boys vs 3D will hopefully start off the show so we get that out of the way quickly. I dont even know why anyone considers this worthy of a PPV slot, but meh.

Anyway, whats the current angle with The Band? Im a bit out of touch so ive no idea where they will come into it, but they will be involved in some match somewhere or (hopefully) just a backstage beatdown.

+1 to the pressure is on TNA. WWE is putting together possibly the best Mania card of all time, certainly one of the best in its history, so for TNA to compete and to lead in strong to the announcement tomorrow about going live on Mondays in March they need a strong PPV tonight.

hogan laid out the band at the end of thursdays' impact with the brass knucks they used to beat angle down so they aren't friends with either Nash or Hogan anymore.

see the end of that clip for some truly idiotic flailing from waltman as he waits forever for Hogan to punch him

dear god, I am watching this week's impact right now and I may have to take back that I said tonight's PPV will be a good show. I forgot Russo is still booking.

I'm watching the beginning of impact right now and you have HULK freakin HOGAN doing a promo to open the show and he gets interupted by the overated vanilla midget leprecaun Eric Young, gimme a freakin break!

just got through TNA impact, don't know what everyone is complaining about. That was a great show. I barely had to fast forward through anything. Lots of good stuff there.

Flair/AJ and Samoa were tremendous once again. You could tell Flair is loving what he is doing and TNA has given him new life. Flair has said in interviews how he was meant to be a heel, how he wanted to be a heel in WWE but Vince was against it. Flair is having a lot of fun out there doing what he was meant to do. It has been a while since I've seen Flair this good, it's like TNA has allowed him to let loose.
This is some of the best promo work that I've ever seen from AJ and Samoa, they have really upped their game. Very great segment once again this week.

Nice opener. The Pope is like a year and a half dozen regular moves from being HUGE.

When he first joined i had such low expectations but the dude just delivers and is so close to main eventing a PPV this year.

Whats up with JB being back on TV? I assume this happened at the last Impact?

Another seemingly pretty much bleh match, I'm guessing Matt Morgan wins, but I doubt either win in Round 2

Whoever wins will go over Pope. Prob Morgan, he is much further up the ladder.

Shocked at the match order btw. Id have expected one of group two first given its a lock that Angle and Abyss are going through in their round 1 matches.
