Re: Official WrestleMania Thread
If Cena is banged up, with no crucial injury, IŽd think they will try and let him work through it. A lighter schedule for a month or so can work wonders for the body, and perhaps no time off is needed. WWE will avoid having him off TV if possible, and I think they will try to avoid having super-Cena appear/announce that he is injured and needs to give up his belt if they can.

Re: Official WrestleMania Thread
Little Jimmy should make his first appearance during the match, join forces with Truth, injure Cena somehow and steal the title, which should be held up the next night on Raw.
Even though that was farfetched, I wouldn't mind seeing a smackdown/raw type alliance between Truth/Xtian where they take this conspiracy angle to another level.

comedy central has the daily show at 2am, right after its always sunny in philadelphia. i recommend IASIP if you have not seen it yet.

It's expected that Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman will be brought into FCW to handle the day-to-day operations of the facility and to handle the development of new talent. Whatever changes to take place, as we initially reported, a pretty major overhaul of the current system is expected to take place.

i heard thru un-trustworthy, but if true, very inside sources that dusty(who currently runs fcw), may be on his way out of there to do other wrestling things. this may be an extention of that.
and do not let waltman anywhere near these kids. the closest he should be to wrestling is once a year at the gathering of the juggalos.

Re: Official WrestleMania Thread
Yeah I can't say I'm all that thrilled at the idea of Nash/Waltman developing talent.
Then again, it's HHH, so it's hardly a surprise he'd pick those two.

Re: Official WrestleMania Thread
I really, really, REALLY hope ROH's new TV deal works out and they can become a reasonable player in the next handful of years.

Yeah, they will def have him working through minor injuries. He worked through i minor form of this:

last year around the same time.
Its pretty lol how wrestlers are seen as kinda pansyish and wrestling isnt a real sport and yet they work through injuries that have "real" athletes taking months off to rehab.

That's precisely why I always have an impulse to try to argue with people who use the word "fake."
Scripted, fixed...fine, of course it is. Fake just seems like it sells the workers short.

It's probably the same people that chastise wrestling because it killed too many lives. I mean come on, also it's the same people that think that something is real but it was not.
For example, in Eddie's Cheating Death, Stealing Life, he said that he had comments about his 2000 Latino Heat storyline and that if it had any affect with his marriage and he said that they might the same people that thinks that wrestling and storytelling is fake.

Re: Official WrestleMania Thread
Christian Cage's opening promo with Cole on SD was great. I hope he has a good heel run and it finally clicks and he gets the accolades he deserves.
(yeah, he is CC when he is a heel in my mind)

Re: Official WrestleMania Thread
Can't we just call him CLB if he's a heel, nothing wrong with Christian Cage though.

Re: Official WrestleMania Thread
I dunno if its going to be cleaned up when its broadcast in the US and UK, but the sound levels on Smackdown were turrrrrible. The ref's mic was at a higher volume than the commentary team. It was awful.

this reminds me of the scene in the simpsons where homer and lisa aren't talking.
"Marge, will you ask Lisa to pass the syrup?"
"Bart, will you tell Dad that I'll only do that if he's not putting it on meat?"
"You gonna syrup up that sausage homeboy?"
"Lisa, will you tell Bart that I just want a glass of syrup like I have every morning?"

Re: Official WrestleMania Thread
Sup fellas, been away for a week or so in Germany for work so just catching up on the last two weeks or so of wrestling. 2x Raws, 2x Tough Enoughs including the finale (although I already know who won) and 2x SmackDowns to watch. Fun evening in store.

Re: Official WrestleMania Thread
Tough Enough was by far the most entertaining wrestling-related show these last few months.
This is totally unrelated, but as a wrestling fan my "wet dream" would be a Legends 24/7 episode on the art of storytelling, with a panel of Bret Hart, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Undertaker or HHH. That would be amazing.
