In a meta sense I think it was just another point where Owens, the supposed #1 guy from Raw, was a secondary character who happened to lug a big belt to the ring. It may have done something from a story standpoint, but I think his standing dropped just in his overall lack of presence compared to the rest.

I should put a significant disclaimer on my last comment about the last match being the only worthwhile thing: the Seahawk game bled over the opening women's match and I didn't see anything but the very end. So perhaps that was good.
