I wonder if, even once in the history of wrestling, perhaps the 1970s or earlier, a wrestler has ever won via submission after rolling over into the reversed-leverage figure-four. There's no basis for the way announcers react to it. I would call it the OMG BACKSLIDE of submissions, except that backslides actually have won matches.

I'm just relieved that they didn't do something terrible like taking both heavyweight midcard titles away from SD. That would have been a Tazz "WE NEED SOME MORE KIDS" moment.

I didnt think theyd move the title, but thought there could be some "zayn wins and its reveal bryan traded miz for zayn before the match" or something

glad it wasnt, cause this was much better

Random transitional strikes get powered up so strongly in elimination matches. These wrestlers should execute them the same way in regular singles matches so that they can win more.

Ah, see normally these transitional moves are not enough to keep a superstar down. The person receiving the move is focused on their opponent and are able to prepare themselves at the last instant for impact, negating the full power of the move. In these environments however they have their attention divided on the plethora of potential angles of attack and the move hits full strength. Think of how a move seems so much more effective in a normal match after a distraction.
