that one really didn't cost them the game. who knows how the final (10ish) or so minutes would've played out had he not fumbled.

We would have kept punting them inside their 20 and stifling them with our defense. I think that one was bigger than the other.

Had a nightmare it was 49-13 Giants AT HALFTIME

I was rooting for the Patriots in the prior matchup, but I believe I have flipped allegiances to the Giants this time around. I was rooting for New England to complete the perfect season and felt that everyone rooting against them was engaging in hate that was largely unwarranted and mostly based on some misguided notion of "how dare you succeed so much." Such a mindset is perverse, so as a knee-jerk reaction I rooted for Brady and co.

This time around? Meh. Patriots aren't as fun to watch on offense, for one. They're also less balanced. There's no pursuit of history (at least not history that doesn't happen every year when a champ is crowned). The reasons that people are rooting for the Giants are still poisoned with a heavy dose of ******ation, but that to me is outweighed by the debt of gratitude that I feel that I owe to the Giants for not having to bathe in my own tears at the sight of the 49ers occupying one half of the field.

So, in conclusion, I will support Eli for one more Sunday before dumping him again and going back to calling him a whiny bitch. Go Giants.
