minor Nit but i thought many kickout spots throughout the match (short of nakamura's on Zayns powerbomb) were really lazy. It just seemed like it got to a 2 count and the guy on top just got off him as opposed to an actual kickout.

Match was very good though. Nakamura is awesome, and that theme music is badass.

i think i liked that better than styles/shinsuke wrestle kingdom, though i dont follow NJPW closely at all so maybe id feel differently if i had experienced the full storyline and buildup

Well, oddly enough, usually the ladies in the main are used as a break time, but at least, this match has a chance to get the crowd back into it after that last match.

I don't know. I usually see these one counts as a head game as oppose to winning the match, but few rarely uses it that way.

I thought that was a great match, but I feel like I liked it less than others did. That is to say...I loved it, but I didn't love it on the level of 2014 Cesaro/Zayn.

Maybe a rewatch of both would warrant a different opinion though.

If William Regal were here, he'd explain that the purpose of the pin attempt after the shoulder block isn't to get the pin, it's to force the opponent to exert energy in kicking out.

Regal also liked digging an elbow into his opponent's face while he did transitional pins, which I loved.
