Was out pretty much all night. Worth going back and watching?

definitely. I'd skip the first match and just watch the 4 title matches

I'll just imagine that Ciampa upended the ambulance.

All the way back to their match against each other in the cruiser weight classic

Thanks for posting. Pretty sweet.

I thought something was in the works when Gargano saved Ciampa from the ladder and subsequently losing. The crowd reaction made this that much better. Does this destroy the tag division though? idk who else is even a tag team there as only DIY/Revival/AOP are featured on Takeovers.

Watched the UK match after twitter blew up and really enjoyed it. Haven't watched anything else but definitely recommend checking that out. Easily my favourite WWE match this year.

I loved the end of the show. I honestly don't know much about DIY (only occasionally watch the weekly show) but it was great how they set everyone up by playing off the overused NXT formula of the faces hugging each other and leaving to cheers etc.

The women's match never quite got into that next gear where it got great, but Nikki Cross' commitment to her character and all the little things she does with it impress me more each week.

I missed it as well because I was getting Uber on tonight. I was surprised how early this show ended. I was on my way up there to hopefully get a big ride, and I got the notification when I was about 10 minutes from the arena that BobbybRoode had won. That was a waste of time and gas.

I am pumped because I just purchased a ticket to see Jim Ross' show tomorrow. I have been wanting to see it for a while, and he finally brought it back to Chicago

Ugh the tag match went on last, not Bobby Roode.

Same.

I thought the match was ok but nowhere near all the OMG5STARZ I seen all over twitter. The first couple of minutes tilted the **** out of me with that stupid chain wrestling and after that a lot of the match was just do a spot, lay down for a minute, get up do another spot, lay down for a minute. meh

My problem with the match was pretty much the opposite. I hated at the end when whatever guy (I don't know which is which) hit the DDT off a reverse of his opponents finisher, dove outside on opponent, threw him in the ring, did his corkscrew whatever and guy kicks out. Seriously? Overkill. I'm not sure I'd ever seen three big moves done in such quick succession to only be kicked out of at what felt like the climax to the match.

Then the ending sequence where guy jumps off the top to the outside and misses but then is instantly getting up. Now that one was a botch because his opponent was supposed to be picking him up but instead of him having a struggle picking him up they zoom into the next spot and finish.

Also, the instant get up off of a big move to do the stupid ****ing bounce off the ropes with his neck and arms to hit his move so they can pretend they're in Japan. At least when they do that in a big match in Japan, it's not flashy, it's desperation. They looked like a couple of jackasses out there.

I also have some issues with most fans equating a great match to just doing a ton of really high-impact moves with minimal selling while kicking out of everything. To me the match crossed that line where it felt like two guys putting on a show, not two guys fighting each other. Still fun to watch, but I wouldn't rate it super high.

I might rewatch it though since idk if this is a fair criticism.
