First time watching WWE programming of any kind since probably Wrestlemania 30. Don't know too much about anyone in the card aside from Samoa Joe, but I've been really liking what I'm seeing so far. Good London crowd, good action. Simple as that.

If only every WWE show, of any kind, is or comes to close as that. I may watch them again instead of proclaiming that the main WWE programming is dead to me.

nxt is really, really good. people care about winning matches, the ring work is good, the announcing - while not amazing - focuses on the product, and the crowd always cares (though orlando has gotten bad about trying to get themselves over lol).

if you made your wrestling viewing nxt + njpw youd love wrestling again. when you turn on the main wwe show you wonder why you watch this stuff lol

Oh yeah, watching NJPW has really rejuvenated my enjoyment of watching wrestling and watching this Takeover event has continued that enjoyment. It just feels good to watch wrestling again on a regular basis after a few years of disappointment watching the main WWE stuff to the point where I stopped watching altogether.

whats cool is that match was booked correct even if that would have been the ending. the only difference woulda been after the second submission attempt

Something else that really matters, very few people who didn't get in before WWE cutting the music budget severely have lucked out and it really matters. Balor is one of the semi-lucky ones, especially when you have Dean Ambrose coming out to a motorcycle sound.

Man, Samoa Joe is looking good. I heard he had some rough years in his last few years in TNA, being not motivated and not looking good.

Glad to see him hit his good stuff here, fluidly moving well and transitioning from submission hold to submission hold.

Great special. Every belt felt like it was in jeopardy, but none of them actually changed hands. I can see where some of the losers going under clean may have lost some steam, but the champions definitely gained and that will mean all that much more when someone eventually beats them for those belts. Also for Baron Corbin as probably the next challenger.

Almost looks like he's being evaluated for a concussion. Could explain him not being on point with some of those later kicks. Holy crap if he wrestled half the match with one though.
