This is thread for discussion on the policy, procedures, etc of this forum. Feel free to bitch about moderating here, and I will keep of list of who gets Knocked out or Future Endeavored for trolling etc.

Maybe one day when I get unbusy with work I can get a real sticky thing together.

the X v Y threads were fun and a light hearted way to start things off in the new forum, it would have inevitably petered out and proper discussion ensued.

please to be not modding this forum like some third reich inspired militant dictator. if there is discussion without mindless trolling just leave it alone.

i think a lot of people are having fun in here because of the relaxed vibe. It's fun to mess around with absurd topics, and weird questions that's never brought up in "superduperseriousthreads".

I think it's a good place for WWE-guys and MMA-guys to get together and have some fun. If you're too strict about the content here it's just another place where one could post the same things as in the already established "superduperseriousthreads".

If we can't post a thread talking about who would win a fight between the two most absurd promoters on this planet here, then where can we do that?

Lighten up basically.

I had 2 people complain to me about them. Really the only reason I closed them.

If people really want them ill open them back up. I dont think people want a whole page of them either, though.

This place is going to be the opposite of super militant rule.

I just dont want hte tone to be all joke no discussion if you know what I mean.

not to beat a dead horse but when you have 2 people complain and ~30 people actively enjoying posting in threads why is closing the right option?

w/e I don't think the threads need re-opening, it was just that if it was an indicative of how strict the modding would be it would suck. if you agree that a relatively relaxed atmosphere is preferable here im happy.

yes I take the point about 'all joke, no discussion' - but as said I think that would have petered out once it became unfunny.

LOL, I love how we just started a new forum and right away we got mma and wrestling fans intermingling in mindless threads having some fun and the hammer has already been thrown down. There were some reservations at first between the two groups but now that the forum is up everyone is enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. I agree that a page filled with nonsense would be too much to bear but I don't think we're even at that point yet. Like the poster above said it would peter out eventually and we'll get back into posting serious topics with the occassional light hearted ones popping out here and there. It's still only the first day (?) that the forum is up ffs.

I'm pleased to hear that this forum will have a more relaxed vibe than a militant rule. I believe the mods here also mod the OOT Wrestlemania threads as well, so if that's any indication they will do a great job. They let a lot slip through the cracks.

BTW EMC, I love the Johnny Ace avatar. It's just so fitting seeing a mod for this forum with that avatar. Cracks me up everytime I look at it.
