I DDT'd someone once, well actually I hit the same person with it twice in the same fight. The sound of his head hitting the concrete was one of the worst sounds I have ever heard. Really horrible noise. I still remember it now 10 years later, funny enough I was taking to one of my friends about this just the other day, he said I even called out DDT before i dropped it. Fortunately he was ok afterwards, nothing more than a sore head. I stopped getting into fights after that. Its legit scary thinking back about how badly that could have ended for both of us.

I hit a hard double-leg takedown in an amateur match my HS freshman year and in doing so accidentally DDT'd myself (didn't pull my head out of his armpit in time) and darn near knocked myself unconscious.

You hear his head smack, so of course had to watch it twice, but that was tough to watch.

This reminds me. I once did the scorpion death drop on my brother when I was maybe 12 and he was 6. I truly fully intended to just go down in sections but I was wearing socks and slipped on the floor and dropped him with 100 percent force. He wasn't out but he was damn near close to it but he was stunned enough where he didn't even cry or anything so I was pretty scared.

FWIW the scorpion death drop (reverse DDT) is actually even more dangerous than a regular DDT, the back of the skull is less able to withstand that kind of blow.

At least puro wrestling exists. Try watching any of NOAH or BJPW if you want stiff. NJPW is a stiff style as well but the wrestlers aren't as meaty so it doesn't come across that way as often but Ishii, Shibata, Suzuki, and Sakuraba noticeably **** people up with the last three guys being former MMA fighters.

Saw them both when I was about 8 at a hotel near a WWF event and one of them spit at me when I walked up to them.
