Lol, what? Even if it was true then it's laughable to come onto a forum you don't even use and ask random people for donations to go see a pro wrestling event. Loads of people have kids and are struggling for money, what makes this guy so special?

I agree completely. This guy was a poker dealer and he needs our help. Times are tough. It's only $300 that I'm sure everyone in this forum can spare.

Also, I'm not sure why you these people are treating him like a stranger. He's been on this forum for a couple months already and it's quite likely that he's read most of the posts here and views us all as friends. Spudhead, I'm glad that at least one other member of this forum is supporting him.

I'm pretty baffled by GrindPoker's posting in general really, he makes some serious posts but then like at least 25% of his posts have to be deadpanned over-the-top absurd trolls.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like people are very receptive to donating money to the OP. So, I've just been brain storming some ideas of how we can help him out. Perhaps someone should consider staking him in live poker. He plays 2/5 NLHE and 2/5 PLO. He had decent results on Full Tilt and it sounds like he has a real passion for the game so it can't be a bad investment.

Anyways, just an idea. If everyone keeps their wheels turning and posts their ideas here I'm sure we will be able to solve OP's problems.
