For me it has to be HBK. He was amazing on the mic and even better on the ring. His first run in WWE was HOF worthy and his second run was arguably better.

Mine has to be Austin. He was a crazy mother****er and I would make sure to never miss RAW or SD! because I wanted to see what he could pull off next. One of the best matches ever...

Goldust because I was always entertained by him, no matter what goofy schtick he was currently doing.

Kurt Angel because he's Kurt ****ing Angle. The man could have a good match with HHH or a broom, he was charismatic, funny when he needed to be, could definitely play serious, and seriously the man could wrestle. Kurt Angle is my favourite wrestler all-time overall.

I think there must be something about me that resists voting for the absolute top dog in the company as my favorite.

In Owen and Mr. Perfect you have two of the first names you'd mention in a "WTF? They never won the world title?" list (Ted DiBiase is another, who I also love). In Savage, obviously a multi-time world champion, but I was way more drawn to him than to Hulk Hogan as a kid, and he obviously was second banana even when he was the champion. WM 8, his title match with Flair happened before the Hogan-Sid match. Hogan horns in to overshadow him starting at WM 4 and throughout his title reign as well.

I absolutely loved The Rock and Steve Austin, but I think somehow their level of popularity kept me from latching onto them as my very absolute favorites.

I just remembered that two of my favourite wrestlers ever Kurt Angle and AJ Styles are both rotting away in TNA.

If you made me pick one though I would have to go with Angle as well. Amazing in so many ways and always willing to put people over or do absurd comedy when the situation called for it. (I am not even considering Rock and SCSA in this listing. They are the most over people ever aside from maybe Undertaker and are number 0 on the list coming before everyone. And like LKJ said they don't need to be favorited.)

The drop-off from Undertaker/HBK 1 to Undertaker/HBK 2 to Undertaker/HHH is ridiculous. Makes me fear Taker returning for 20-0 and maybe they need to just be done with it unless he is off getting in ridiculously good shape for one more match with (hopefully not) HHH. I still like to pretend his "you want to do it?" comment to Brock was asking him to come back for WM to be his final match.
