Appears to go in order. A decent list for mostly WWE, some NWA/WCW, and like one ECW match.

Glad to see #29 on the list because that always gets overlooked (for good reason) by TLC matches.

Lack of Shield vs Wyatts from EC makes list invalid.

Going to find fault with any list of 100 but that's a damn good list

A match that should go on that top 100 list and my favorites list, that people here might watch , is HHH vs Batista from Vengeance 05 in HiaC.

The lack of Joe vs AJ vs Daniels is disappointing. I consider it to be the best triple threat match I've ever seen.

I don't think the list has any TNA matches

It doesn't but given it has ECW matches, it should have TNA matches and I agree that match should be on there. I think the WM XX 3-way and subsequent rematch at Backlash were better though. TNA 3-way is up there for my favorite matches as well. Really fun match with Joe built up as a boss.

Ahh yeah I completely forgot about WM XX and the rematch. I haven't watched them in years but I remember loving every second.

Between Dan's shoutout to it and the fact that it's the highest-rated on that list of 100 that I haven't seen, I obviously need to take a look at this 2004 Foley-Orton match.

Foley regards that as his best match ever iirc.

Alright I just watched it. Definitely a very good match. Probably not up at the level of Foley vs. HBK 1996 or Foley vs. HHH 2000 for me, but still enjoyed.

dream: axelmania vs. bo LIEVE

With the WWE willing to give any celebrity who'll show up some screen time, if we absolutely have to live with them, I thought a potentially fun one would be to set up the Avengers vs the Authority.

The movie is coming out a month after WM, so you could have Evans and Hemsworth, who actually look like they could handle themselves, show up on Raw and end up in a match with Kane and Big Show at WM.

Here's how I would end it. Thor cracks Big Show with his hammer and sends him back to Jotunheim for good.

Bret vs. Bockwinkel definitely would have delivered. Would have been interesting to see if Bret could have approached the level of match that Hennig and Bockwinkel pulled off.

Any mother****ing Randy Orton match with the exception of Mick's godly performance at BL 2004.

Ziggler vs. Nakamura

Just watched Taker vs HBK from WM 26. I've never liked this match. I think their match at 25 is the best in WWF/E history.

8 minutes in, Taker chokeslam and a 2 count. couple minutes later, tombstone on floor. couple minutes later, last ride and 2 count. couple minutes later, superkick and a 2 count. couple mins later, moonsault through the announce table. couple mins later, superkick countered into chokeslam. a minute later, tombstone, 2 count. 3-4 minutes later with no moves in between is the jumping tombstone.

What a **** match. Just a bunch of laying around and finishers/high spots.

Most overrated matches:
1. Taker vs HHH @ 28 - This match needs to be erased from history. It made me embarrassed to be a wrestling fan. Too many people say it's a GOAT match and 5* and that ****.
2. Taker vs HBK @ 26 - so many people give this 5* it's frightening.
3. Taker vs HBK @ Badd Blood - squash match with HBK winning. this is pretty much Lesnar vs Cena from ER 2012 except Lesnar is fun to watch on offense and not slow as ****.
4. Taker vs HHH @ 27 - same as the 26 match with a bunch of finishers and laying around. i've watched this 3 times just to see if i'm missing something and it's garbage.
5. Owen vs Bret @ SS 94 - **** this. most boring ****, ever.
6. Davey Boy vs Bret @ SS 92 - see #6
7. Davey Boy vs Owen on RAW for Euro championship - see #6 and 7
8. Blanchard vs Dusty - I Quit match. This is a match I wish I could've been lucky enough to see in 85 when it happened. I think it's boring and not edgy at all. I'd give it around 2 stars.

Those are the top 8 off the top of my head.

I think this may be more of a list of wrestlers you find (severely) overrated, thus leading to matches you feel the same way about.

Taker vs. HBK at Badd Blood was a squash match? Wasn't it like 30 minutes long?

I remember loving it, but it's been too long since I've seen it to have a very current opinion.

Maybe but I lean more towards thinking it is a style that is popular but one he doesn't like. He said a different Taker match was the best in history and I know he loves Austin vs Hart.

He's referring to Taker beating the absolute **** out of HBK for 29:55 of that match and then winning. Which is pretty much what happened.

A couple more dream matches (going to try to post a couple I quickly think of each time I post):

Dory Funk Jr. vs. Daniel Bryan (old-school submission style)
Rey Mysterio Jr. (late-90s version) vs. Ricochet

Brock/Austin is probably my number one dream feud. The promos Heyman and Austin would cut together would be so great. Austin would be able to pull off the badass who respects Brock but doesn't fear him really well. The feud could never happen now because Brock would probably paralyze Austin, but still it would have been amazing in like 2003.

Actually in 2003 Brock probably would have paralyzed Austin, too. But yes, it would have been great.
